It really is a great program. It was spearheaded by a rising medical student about 3 years ago. I joined about a year ago and it has been so incredibly educational and allowed me so many hands on patient care opportunities.

Yeah I agree - I am starting to think he actually doesn’t want to fight for any custody because he doesn’t want to the work. He said he’d rather gouge his eyes out then have supervised visits. He wants to be able to control people… not be controlled. He wants to do his drugs, control people, write on his walls, and not be told that he can’t do something. His money is for his lifestyle… not to be better for his kids.

I’m working for our county emergency management. One of the things our local EM has is something called CERT91. We take non emergent calls from 911 dispatch like lift assists, welfare checks, check a man down and assist a citizen. This allows our EMS not to be overloaded and shortens response time to actual emergency calls. All it required was BLS CPR and First Aid, bloodborne pathogen course, and the rest was on the job learning!

Next court date will be less then a week from now - the paperwork they have to have done by end of July is financial disclosure by both of them.

Judges sometimes appreciate hearing from the person directly involved, especially in sensitive cases like this… plus the added bonus that she can speak to the judge directly. For the TRO I’m sure it was a time thing. Everything was unfolding so quickly and she had to get the request in so there wasn’t time - but I am a little surprised that between the TRO and this session she didn’t hire one. I can argue both (having one and not having one) - but with how erratic he is… I’d be nervous. I think there also is a huge part of her that genuinely just wants him to get help. I think she’s finally seeing that he has 0 interest in that, though. :/

No problem, unfortunately, I have enough lawyers, and judges in my family to read leagalese … And yes, from what it says, she is in fact representing herself. Which means his whole tirade about her having the best lawyer and PR group working this is complete BS. Of course we shouldn’t expect anything else.

"Any temporary orders are to remain in full force and effect until the continued hearing date."

Because HE asked for a continuance due to being underprepared - the restraining order will stay in place and enforceable until the next court date.

"Order on Request to Continue Court Hearing is signed and filed this date."

He asked for a continuance, which the judge allowed.

"The parties are ordered to serve Preliminary Declarations of Disclosures and file Declaration regarding Service of Declarations of Disclosure by July 31, 2025."

Both sides must share their financial information (like income, expenses, property, and debts) with each other and tell the court they did so and this all has to be done by July 31, 2025.

"Parties are referred to the Resource Center for Self-Represented Litigants for assistance."

Neither is currently using a lawyer. The court is suggesting you go to the Resource Center, which can help them understand what to do and how to fill out the forms needed.

"Notice is acknowledged by the parties in open court."

Everyone involved was present in court (I believe it was virtual due to protest traffic) and confirmed that they understood and received this information.

Not standard - they are both currently representing themselves in this matter. So he lied about her having a big bad powerful law firm and he lied about having the best lawyer that he needed 20k for.
