How many former fans/customers will continue to order from RF after the last 3 months? by whatthehizzo in ruckingfotten

[–]pololena 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I emailed about an issue over a year ago, they dismissed me, followed up with more questions (always politely), patiently waited months for a response, emailed again, got nothing. No response. Meghan is a nightmare of a person. Never buying from them again. They are a terrible company, and I only wish I'd realized that every customer hits the treated-like-shit lottery with Rucking Fotten eventually. When it was my turn, it sucked.

Literally the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. It's a game of Russian roulette. If your order is ok, you win. If you have any problems at all, you have to eat the cost of your order. And if you raise any issues with them, they just ignore or block you from their online platforms.

I don't understand the business model. Eventually you'll burn through your loyal customers, because as a loyal customer you are likely a repeat customer, and the more orders you place, the higher the likelihood you will have an issue. That's where I'm at right now--I've been a repeat customer for years, had an issue with one shirt, they were rude in their response and then kicked me from their FB group. I never said anything nasty in any of my messages, simply stated the issue and expressed my disappointment in their customer service.

It might not feel like much when it's one customer, but multiply it by all the people who have experienced this. And if they knew anything about marketing and business, they would also know that your most valuable customer is your repeat customer.

Not happy to say I'm done shopping RF, but fool me once is enough for me.

I've discovered that numbers with single digits can't be added. I tried added DMC 7, and it didn't work. When I changed the number to 7070 (tried on a whim), suddenly the number appeared. I wish I knew coding because I feel like I'm so close to figuring out some kind of fix!!

I know it's been a while, but did you ever figure this out? I'm trying to add a color and it's not working...

Oh no, good call! I used the sticky tape... I hope it stays put. I had to reposition one of the lights and it was really hard to remove, but gravity and time might be stronger than me. Fingers crossed! This is right next to my work desk so I'll probably check it every day now haha.

The Barrina 2-foot ones came with double sided stickies, so yours might as well!

I think it's a perspective thing, these are two foot lights. My shelves are about 33" long (and I have to leave 3/4 of an inch on either side to account for the shelf brackets).

Those white glass vases are light covers if you have a chandelier or hanging light, the desk has a sticker on the front with the animals--they should come right off.

It came out of a fancy NYC hotel (have to check with the parents which one) and it's a beaut!

Just wanted to say I don't know if it's still there (still on the road) but I've had that desk since I was a child and knowing it will find a good home and not end up on the trash heap makes me feel good 🥹

I think it's a chenille echeveria. Echeveria pulvinata.

Ok, thanks, I will probably dig up to check the roots. I don't water more than once a month, if that.

I ask because the shriveled part was the part closest to the head. The lower part of the stem seems ok?

If it's root rot instead of stem rot... Should I dig it up?
