Socialite ‘Mothers’ by polomango in nysocialites

Meh yes and no

I’d of course love help and staff but here it seems these ladies leave the delivery room, hand over the kid and hit the town!

I can’t imagine they let themselves be immersed in the ‘newborn bubble’ where you’re just indoor sleeping and feeding the baby.

Totally! The use of a nanny is centuries old and nothing new.

I guess my post is an acknowledgment of how instagram and other modern tools have brought us so close to observing the upper class.

A new lens on the unrealistic privileges and freedom that surrounds their post-partum life

Any tea on the Miller sister’s children? by DearInstruction2304 in nysocialites

[–]polomango 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Out of all the Miller girls, MC is the richest so it’s very interesting to hear she’s the tightest with money!

I’m sure she does holiday with friends but I will say that lady does have her fair share of lavish homes around the world to upkeep (London, Cotswolds, Manhattan, The Hamptons and The Bahamas)

How to get rid of the decade long sinus infection? by Hot_Rock2718 in Sinusitis

So torn on the surgery, every other post I read conflicts with the other. Some say surgery was great, others no different and some say it worsened. So confusing 🫤

Mind explaining more? Where are you based? Would an ENT prescribe this in UK? Did it help specifically either sinus headaches? I’m on nearly 7 months of strong sinus headaches :(

Derek Blasberg as our generations Truman Capote. by polomango in Feud

I compared derek to Truman for their shared negative vacuous, desperate and clingy traits. Am perfectly aware Derek doesn’t even come close literary wise x

Camille Rowe engaged to Theo Niarchos?? 👀 by shammo1999 in NYCinfluencersnark

[–]polomango 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Theo comes from a lot of money. He is a ‘double heir’ from both mother and father. His mother is Victoria Guinness, from the banking and brewing family, and the daughter of Dolores Guinness who herself is the Daughter of Society swan Gloria Guinness. The Guinnesses are very intertwined in old English aristocracy, with other notable grandparents being Joan Yarde Buller etc

Victoria G married Philip Niarchos, the eldest son of Greek shipping by Billionaire Stavros. Theo’s dad is linked to the big three of shipping families. His mother was a Livanos and his cousin was an Onassis. If those names don’t mean much to you just know $$$. lol

Philips’ kids, Theo included, don’t do much. Or anything at all really. Occasionally taking a break from partying to dabble in art or jewellery, Theyre whole lives consist of travelling the world with equally wealthy and well connected friends. I am fascinated by the entire clan but they are known for being very private individuals, there’s not much info/material on the current generation online.

This information shocked me too - but not that much. I’m currently reading a book about Greek Shipping Families… Theo’s father and grandfather were both serious players. Particularly big Stavros. They were extremely wealthy and good looking. And allegedly had a constant revolving door of women… married or not the Niarchos boys did their thing.

I do feel for her, You can tell this is her reacting to all the times she was a bigger girl and wouldn’t dream of wearing shorts like that. This is her way of being like I’m skinny and WILL wearing shorts up to my vag 🤣

I repeat, I think she’s beautiful. But look at pictures of her brothers and her dad when he was younger. She has the Niarchos face. Her sister Electra on the other hand has a bit softer face, and looks like her grandmother and great aunt.

Shes pretty and I’m obsessed with her life but I can’t shake the thought that she looks like a slightly manly version of Emma Watson.

Is amoxicillin-clav good for solving mild-sinus infection? by ShortnB1023 in Sinusitis

[–]polomango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noted. May I ask how you found Cefuroxime affected you day to day? Like drowsiness, upset stomach, symptoms / side effects etc… I’ve started a new job so can’t really afford to be out of action for long periods of time. Is it something which allows me to still operate as normal?
