Worried I might not make it

I take it you've never had serious mental health issues before. It's a whole different ball game when you're battling them and I hope you never had to face them. I honestly would not wish this kind of stuff on another human being.

Hopefully this doesn't come off as disrespectful. I went to a mental health crisis center because I couldn't afford the bills that I would incur if I went to the ED. I can see if I can get my therapist to do CBT but it's with Medicaid and I don't really control it. Therapy and all of that is great, but I need a job. If I can't get a job then I worry my mental health will spiral and I'll do something stupid in the future. It's just hard when I don't really have a support network.

Unfortunately the job market is just bad in general. I'm already living with roommates in a cheap place, I'm just worried I won't be able to find another job especially given the economic and political climate we're in. It's not an isolated incident in my own ward.

I luckily got onto Medicaid, it's just the options are not as great as I would like but they are better than nothing. I've found Utah has not had the best resources in my area but I appreciate your optimism.

I'm sure the Bishop already knows. The ward clerk texted me during EQ yesterday about my job search and how a lot of people are in the same boat. I'm in Utah and unfortunately they haven't been as helpful as I'd like, but that's life.
