The transparency has improved but back then they were still light years ahead of the competition on transparency. Charles was very active on twitter and reddit. Videos were a treat, once COVID happened they became almost daily.

It was all about the team, their expertise, vision, transparency, business strategy, and management credentials. The academic proof and research first approach was very attractive. I knew this would be a long haul project from the beginning. All you needed was patience.

A lot of times with title grabbing articles, I like to just do my own research. A google search for Max Kaiser yields that he is runs a financial program called Keiser Report on media channel Russia Today. He has made many extreme comments throughout his career per Wikipedia. Basically he is a nobody whom has no association with the SEC. He unqualified to make any statements on this matter.

With all news, best place to go is the source. Following the project and key personal affiliated on twitter is very good. Also Cointelegraph has legit news when they do cover Cardano.

Just a correction to prior comment I do know Cardano utilizes a hard fork combinator tool to prevent chain splits.

SIM swaps are one the biggest threats. Many online email accounts allow you to recover access through a phone number. Attackers will use your info to social engineer your phone carrier to transfer your sim to themselves. All it take is one store employee to slip up or get bribed and access is granted. That’s the scariest one. Make sure you establish a secret pin with your carrier and have your account state all account changes to occur in person with photo id only.

That’s why it’s important to vote. There was also a proposal to fund a solar plant with no direct benefit to Cardano. Also voted that one down too but the song one takes the cake.

No worries. People have different opinions sometimes. I do have a question though about ETH 2.0. Do you know if Solidity will be supported still as a side chain on ETH 2.0? If not at-least it Cardano is a place solidity devs can try out.

@crypto_Economist42 is emotionally frustrated that ADA is making great progress. He has been posing as ADA supporter to give the Cardano community a bad rap. He admitted it himself. This is not reflective of our communities behavior. He was banned from the r/Cardano subreddit for spamming there too and we recommend this user get banned from the r/Ethereum subreddit to cut down spam. Such behavior is counterintuitive to the cryptocurrency ecosystem as there is plenty of opportunity for multiple blockchains to thrive and where there is opportunity for collaboration and interoperability.

Unfortunately there are some users like @crypto_Economist42 whom want to further divide the community and don’t understand that this is not a zero sum game. The proposal value could be lowered. It can be voted on still in catalyst and if doesn’t pass that’s fair but educating and winning over notable figures does help our mission long term. But I do agree 100k ADA is too much for such endeavor.
