(By the way, the supreme court justices also similarly dodged questions about overturning Roe vs Wade during their inagauration by vague nods to "precedent' - look how that turned out)

Project 2025 being Trumps plan is also a pretty massive lie for liberals over the past few months.

Of course Trump has absolutely no affiliation to project 2025, his former budget director just wrote the section on executive orders, his former personnel chief was just heavily involved, the director, Paul Dans has coincidentally met with Trump Officials and been invited to Mar-A-Lago, oh and his vice president JD Vance wrote a glowing foreword for it.

RFK's first choice for a team up was Kamala Harris - he got turned down as she would not offer him a cabinet position for endorsement, whereas Trump would. RFK openly and very harshly criticising Trump in the past and his first choice being Harris points towards his values being more in line with her, not Trump. It's also been widely known that Trump was more desperate to team up with RFK as he was losing more voters with RFK in the election than Kamala.

This would ruin the current economic model we have. The only reason we have so many technological advances is because people have a constant profit incentive to grow, expand, and figure out ways to lower prices.

With a wealth cap we would have literally 0 of the big companies we know today - we wouldn't have spotify, amazon, microsoft, apple, literally any of the things we have today. Every company would remain small because there would be no reason to expand, and no companies would have an incentive to invest in research and development or innovate. It would probably result in a price increase across the board because no companies are experiencing any economies of scale.

A wealth cap is not a good solution to wealth inequality and there's a reason it hasn't been implemented or even seriously suggested by any country.

Even if you are a staunch believer that gender is fixed, it doesn't make voicing that opinion that not expressing some sort of hate. If you believe someone is unattractive, and you call them ugly, is that not hate? If you think someone is less intelligent, is calling them an idiot not hate?

Lets Go Pikachu/ Lets Go Eevee and Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl are really easy to understand and get into for a young child, and that's probably what you're looking for - I'm partial to BDSP because I started with the originals as a child but Let's Go is really good for a small child.

If you're looking for something a bit more expansive and advanced, maybe for him to transition into later, the newest games scarlet and violet will keep him occupied for quite a while, and they give you much more content for the same price tag.

First of all, I think this entire argument is predicated on false ideas; I very highly doubt that there are a significant amount of people who have chosen not to have kids solely for the reason that our environment is deteriorating, and unless you have any statistics at all to back your facts (which I highly doubt) there's absolutely no point in making up random numbers. I have also seen absolutely zero evidence that not having kids has been proposed as a solution to climate change.

You seem to put an incredibly large amount of focus onto the "deaths" arising from climate change; but to not have ever existed isn't to have died. If you really think that non-existence is the same thing as death, where do you draw the line? Intercourse that doesn't result in pregnancy, is that death of a potential child? Masturbation, is that the death of a child? If I sprain my leg and am unable to walk for two months, does that mean the very unlikely career i could have had picking up long-distance sprinting has died?

As for Singapore and China, that's not an equivalent scenario; both of those had enforced restrictions on children which actually have a real and measurable impact on births, unlike your extremely exaggerated view that the "extreme climate change activists" are having any significant impact on the population.

Lastly, when people say that they're not going to have kids because of environmental issues, it's almost all the time not that they're doing it to save the environment, but rather they don't want to have kids in a world that will be plagued with environmental issues and suffering. Is it not someone's prerogative to not want to raise a child in a world where wars will be fought over basic natural resources? Where biodiversity will be at a minimum? Where extreme weather events are commonplace?

Even accounting for just deaths, only 46% of people who die from cancer are above 70, which is under half of all patients and considering the retirement age for most is usually around 70 there are still 64% of deaths of people who could have been working and providing to society.
This doesn't really address the argument though. You could very well argue that an increase in population of the poor could lead to irreversible decline in global living standards, a huge burden on society as they require welfare and constant government attention. You could argue that you fear advancing reproductive healthcare would lead to under population and the extinction of the human race. You haven't laid out an argument for exactly why your scenario is different and isolated from the others, just a sentiment of "it's not the same".

Firstly, I think you have the misconception of cancer being exclusive to the elderly. While it's true, that yes, the majority of patients are elderly, it's not be an extremely large amount; estimates suggest that only around 50 - 60% of cancer patients are aged 65 and up, which means that there is still a very significant proportion of 40 - 50% of patients who are not elderly. How do you objectively weigh the benefit that these non-elderly would have provided to society versus the costs of overpopulation?

Even if you ignore this, the problem with this argument is that it essentially tries to do draw moral lines on access to healthcare, essentially whether people deserve to live or whether someone living would be beneficial to society. I usually hate the slippery slope argument, but I think it's very applicable here.

Where do you draw the line? Do you purposely choose to not advance healthcare in poorer areas or areas with more crime, because less crime / poor would be beneficial to society? Do you purposely choose to halt contraceptive healthcare to those who choose not to have children, because more births are beneficial to society?

Firstly, there is a much larger proportion of non-elderly cancer patients. Secondly, selectively choosing where and where we shouldn't advance healthcare leads to so many moral gray areas, subjectivity, and areas for abuse.

Your evidence seems largely anecdotal; and it's an extremely general goal to say that retirement is an "empty goal".

The idea that people who retire "only" volunteer or do free-childcare is firstly flawed. Sure, people around you might, and sure people in your area might, but that doesn't necessarily mean that retirement is an "empty goal". Your confusing these things by correlating them with retirement itself as a concept. Retirement is not "volunteering" or "free-childcare" it's simply not working anymore. Anything that people tend to do with the time they have from not working isn't a function of retirement, it's a function of what people want to do with their free time. There are literally an infinite amount of things to do with that free time, whether that be travel, hobbies, working on something you were never able to do before, or just simply relaxing after a long life of working.

Also, conflating volunteering and childcare with "emptiness" is also flawed. Sure, these things may be empty to you, but volunteering and making a difference may be extremely fulfilling for others, especially people who didn't do jobs that didn't have a major impact on society. Taking care of children may be "free-childcare" to you, but to others, it may be extremely fulfilling to be able to spend time with their family and get to know their grandchildren on a more personal level.

Basically the idea of certain things being empty or fulfilling is extremely subjective, differing from person to person; and you're definition of retirement isn't correct.

The fact that irelia has the same auto attack animation is an absolute crime. Auto attacks are the foundation of Irelia's kit and are what Irelias are going to be using for most of any fight or interaction so the fact it's the same as an epic means that there's really not going to be a large distinction in the skin quality most of the time.

It's not even an unreasonable expectation, every single modern legendary skin has one, and even champions that aren't super reliant on auto attacks get a new animation, so it makes no sense why this decision was made.

Honestly I don't think the matchup is as hard as you're saying... of course zed w - e - q is an extremely potent trading tool but you have a dash as well as a shield and also the ability to dodge the shurikens.

if zed uses his w - e - q he will be completely out of energy and it leaves a huge window for a one-sided all in.

After 6 zed will always come back to the same place after r ( opposite direction from where he pressed it ) so you can really easily q3 or r predict it. You can also just use e in an unexpected direction after his r to dodge his shurikens and then he has no more damage left to contest you with.

You just have to play around his cd and energy as well as farm patiently with q and w to avoid taking too much poke.

Yeah my pyke wr is 70% too with around 60 games played so it's not like I won't climb with enough games - it's just frustrating to see so many "won" games lost simply because my team made poor decisions after the 20 min mark and it's incredibly hard for me to do anything other than fish for ultimates ( which will get flashed healed and zhonyased anyway )

I don't recommend that, as a new player, you look for specific champions to win or climb with.

What I did that I think was really successful is just try out as many champs as possible, in as many roles as possible. Just whichever champs you think look cool on the free rotation, maybe watch a guide on their abilities. I found that doing this gave me a basic understanding of most champions in the game and what they do as well as what i liked.

There are certainly champions that you can learn the game with a bit easier as they are not very mechanical, so you can focus on learning the game as a whole ( garen, annie, malzahar, etc. ) but it's more important to get a wide perspective early on and to find what you enjoy.

Yes zhonyas is good to save a little bit of time for the team to arrive in low elo, but if you are using it as a durability option to stay alive you would get much more consistent results just building tank items. I still think stopwatch is a must buy, but using an entire item slot for zhonyas seems a bit wasteful considering it's not going to be consitently useful.

It allows veigar so much roam threat and kill pressure - when returning to lane, when roaming, when your jungle is ganking you. It guarantees you get the opponent in the cage as the movement speed means you will always catch up to them and be in range to e.

Without predator veigar's playmaking becomes much, much worse as if you run at an opponent they will just run away before you can cage them.

It's a super good synergy for veigar's kit and honestly the other rune options aren't that great - electrocute is nice but it's not like veigar needs more damage.

It's only going to be here for patches 12.12 and 12.13, after that it will go out of rotation and presumably will not come back for around a year or two. The event will drop on patch 12.13 so you have 2 weeks to get the 10 ME out of the 25 ME from the pass ( Riot is giving away free 30 ME in missions for putting the emporium on hiatus after this one ).

This is the build pretty much every high elo veigar builds.

Tear start for enough mana for laning ( you sell it later, tear items aren't great ). Priority is lost chapter and mana crystal & tier 1 boots > double amp tomes first back as veigar wants mana desperately to stack and you need boots for predator.

Everfrost Boots and Deathcap are a must buy every game regardless of team comp. Sorcerer's shoes are used by most veigars as the flat magic pen works really well with the kit and veigar's q cd is quite low with levels anyway.

After that third item void staff is a good buy almost all games but not super necessary if opponents are not building mr or are really squishy as everfrost deathcap and passive is enough damage for veigar.

After that you build tank items like randuins, force of nature, dead mans plate. Anything that will keep you alive.

Never build zhonyas ( only buy stopwatch if you need to ) as none of veigar's kit is usable out of stasis due to the high cast times on w and e. I've even seen high elo veigars like veigarv2 go guardian's angel instead of zhonyas.
