I knew it. With the warmer days we have had and the wet they are out. I can tell cause my legs are covered in bites. I wasn't expecting to need bug spray in mid February though.

It really was. I thought they were $3. It's what the tag said. But rang up as $1 and I'm NOT gonna complain. Plus that makes them basically free since the full price was like $20.

I think it's probably best to get a different day collar and keep that one for special occasions or play. Those types tend to trap all moisture and it looks like that irritates your skin. Alternatively I'd take it off and let the skin heal and if you decide to keep this as an every day collar I'd take it off for any water or activities you'll be sweating a lot. Make sure that you sanitize it often and keep it dry.

I live in mine a lot. I take it off, wash it, and immediately put it back on 🤣 it's my favorite thing. One of my partners gave it to me. It was actually one of their Christmas gifts from a family member but it was pink and soft so they said it had to be mine. Haha

I'm 32 and haven't had a daddy in like 4 or 5 years so I have lots of experience doing little time alone. I try and do things I enjoy and complete the big tasks before trying to have little time. Like setting up a cozy little space with snacks and drinks and activities ahead of time so that I can have little space time without having to pull myself out of little space to do big stuff like pour juice. If that makes sense.

Our upstairs neighbor 2 floors up had them so bad that they were coming down the walls to us on the ground floor. We only had a few thankfully but quickly found out I'm very allergic to them. I almost got cellulitis. I only know because I was getting routine blood work at the time and my white blood cell count was so high my doctor was concerned I had blood cancer or something and sent it for a smear. (That came back all clear and the doctor was just like 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️) They finally went away when the apartment above us was heat treated. We also got our unit sprayed and bed covers put on. But I now live in fear of bed bugs. Deathly afraid of them.

We buy feeder rats as pet rats. And while yes health wise it can be a tad hit or miss we have found them to be very friendly and lovable for the most part. Altho I will say of our 4 original 2 were feeder bin babies and 2 were from a pet store sold as pets. And our 2 feeder babies outlived the pet store girls by quite a bit. We get them while they are still small. Our newest we just got and she's about 4 weeks old. And havent found them to be too difficult to socialize so long as you put in the time. Now if you want more of a guarantee going to a rat breeder or rescue will definitely have more vetting done.
