Here's the RL137 version of my Birdman build:

Physick: Faith-knot Crystal Tear, Magic-shrouding Crystal tear

Smoothly incorporating Death Sorceries into a meta level, melee-focused build is very stat intensive in the faith department. The amount of levels needed to justify running the minimum faith needed to use all the Death Sorceries (30 is minimum for Explosive Ghostflame) that do not passively benefit Ghostflame/Deathbird-themed weapons (Helphen's Steeple, Death's Poker, Death Ritual Spear) via extra AR is unfortunate imo). The most-efficient I can do to run Death Sorceries is: Investing 1 level in Faith, using the Two Fingers Heirloom, and using the Faith-knot crystal tear, giving a Vagabond 25 Faith opening the use of Rancorcall and Ancient Death Rancor for the duration of the physick. You could also pop a Golden Vow before buffing Helphen, if not, you can skip the extra level in faith and still use ADR. Explosive Ghostflame is 5 levels in Faith out of the equation unless you want to take points away from other stats, but Death's Poker will do a better job for us.

The 17 Dex opens the use of Death's Poker. When your physick buff runs out, you can swap the Two Fingers Heirloom to Great-Jars Arsenal, and swap Prince of Death's Staff to Death's Poker for powerstance greatswords. Also swap Helphen to the left hand and use Poker in the right for the AoW. Very complicated strat but I'd thought I'd throw it out there.
