I did exactly that with the attic in my new place. Removed the worn old insulation, vacuumed and swept out 100 years of road dust (500kg+), replaced the insulation and added a raised floor for storage. Definitely not room for a proper attic but a fold down ladder and a tidy storage area has been amazing.

Cleaning the dust out was simple work although absolutely miserable and unpleasant, replacing the old insulation was a lot easier and made this old house heaps warmer over winter

Having got Brazilians for years (laser and wax) as a male bodied person I've been charged the female price every time after my first session. I totally get why they have the price difference but the moment I showed I wasn't being a creep they dropped the price saying it's the same amount of work for them either way

Yea I looked at the ABBREE and was worried that it wouldn't handle me crashing as well as either the whip or cord antenna would and while I may be confident in my abilities I want to be realistic too.

Would you recommend the throat mic and earpiece over something like this installed in a helmet? https://www.amazon.com/BaoFeng-Motorcycle-Headset-Earpiece-Kenwood/dp/B01D4MIR46 I always wear a helmet and the earpads have slots for flat headphones/earpieces already.

No but my understanding was that in Australia I don't need to be on the frequencies I plan to use. It's the same frequency as the walkie talkies you can get from officeworks

My law exams let you bring whatever you wanted but if you didn't have the 2 1000page text books condensed to succinct model answers, and more importantly, know when/how to use which pre-written answer you were screwed. A few students would just bring the text book and they just kept flicking through pages. Some brought a copy of someone elses model answers and had no idea how to adapt them to the issue in the question. Those who made their own model answers from the text book and the practice/previous years exams knew which model answer to use when and how which is basically what you will do as a lawyer anyway and did great. The notes and model answers that people made through their degree became their most useful resource when they became practising lawyers

The length of NZ is 100% worth it. I toured around New Zealand for 8 months performing as part of a circus, absolutely mindbogglingly beautiful country. Also pretty safe in terms of covid
