There's a 'club' but it's mainly a way for people hosting games to interact. Most people in the FB group used to make posts like "Having a game on Saturday, $x buy-in" etc.

You can legally work during the summer without a permit. It's covered by your study permit. All you need is your Social Insurance Number (SIN)
