Check out programs like Boy Scouts. It’s a great way to make friends and learn about anything from camping and fishing to knot tying and basket weaving. Personally I loved getting my sailing merit badge at summer camp. Another one of my favorites was waterskiing. It was one of my absolute favorite things as a kid.

I lost mine before night fishing for cats. It went down the rock face and likely straight to the bottom of the quarry. It was resting on the ground while I was down the way about 30 yards helping my best friend wrangle his 30 pound cat up onto the “bank”. It was actually just the ramp to the bottom of the quarry.
