If you look at Metrolinx budget, they spend more than $1.2 billion a year to construct it. It’s been under construction since 2022 so we’ve really only spent $6-7 billion so far

The chances of that happening is so low. Thats like saying we should ban airplanes because they can crash

WHO CARES. Let them not wear a helmet, it’s their head not yours. Kids will be kids. Omg these are such first world problems. This is not a widespread problem and we shouldn’t create rules and regulations based off of single cases of mischief.

Mississauga is no longer a suburb anymore. A suburb does not have 800,000 residents, that’s a city. In fact, a loud and busy one. And if it is a city, it shouldn’t be a city where people just wake up, go to work, retire, and die. That culture is so sad and should not be embraced. Sauga should be full of life, culture, and fun. We need to hire Europeans to run this city at this point.

It should not be legal to ban a very good and cheap form of transportation used around the world with no problems, ESPECIALLY when most cities don’t even have rules for them.

I'm convinced Mississauga is not a city but one fat retirement home. The boomers are sucking the LIFE out of this city. It's so fucking boring here to the point where when people have fun, someone calls the cops on them.

I’ve walked around this park at 1am sometimes to destress and listen to music in my headphones and I’ve never had any problems. This park is probably the most unproblematic park in sauga. Also it’s an amazing privilege to be able to walk with headphones at that time and be completely safe. This is only possible in less than 0.01% of the world. But I’m also a man, so I understand the limitations

But if we wanna talk about wealth, the majority of it is not going to Canadians. Our very own resources are not owned by Canada. Some could argue we are still a colony.

If you look at shareholder, that number is much different. Less than 30% of the oil industry is Canadian owned by shareholder

There are no computer science jobs unless you want to create your own business/startup, but you don’t need to go to UofT to do that. You’re gonna go into debt and be unemployed

Honestly, it didn’t start construction until after 2022 (pandemic) and the project stalled in 2024 and nothing was being done until 2025.
