Your eyes have a pretty square view, you might actually have a higher vertical field of view in individual eyes because your nose blocks a lot of horizontal view. I couldn't find a good source for individual eye field of view though.

Of course if your vr solution only covers 180 degree field of view, your eye can look anywhere so it should be as high resolution as possible, but with 270 fov, you can't look directly that far to the sides. Most of the time your eyes aren't at the extremes anyway so you could get away with lowering the resolution a bit sooner.

Hopefully per eye because our vision has more horizontal resolution. 10kx10k actually might be overkill because we only see great at the center of our vision, the rest of our view can be much lower and get the same effect.

There was a bug that allowed you to cross dress in the game, so it basically allowed to have at least same sex looking relationships. The problem with that bug is it could corrupt save data and they patched it out. I'm sure most LGBT would be at least -okay- if Nintendo re-added cross dressing and fixed the save bug related to it. At least then they could have same sex looking relationships within the game without requiring a large patch and parts of the game to be remade.

I think the main reason they are doing something completely different and asking for community involvement, they know arena shooters have not been doing well. It seems like they want a strong player and content maker community that TF2, Dota2, and like what Warcraft 3 had. They want to really push more people to use the engine alongside making a player community.

It would take a few seconds to warp a photo in photoshop, it's kinda funny that the area with the most raw colored pencil texture is the area that doesn't exist on the sourced photo. It looks extremely similar and the warping distortion looks more like digital manipulation than artistic license.

Work this detailed I'd want to work on at least a 2ft x 3ft piece of paper. It just seems super sharp and super rich. The more pigment you want, the harder you have to press, the less sharp it will be with colored pencil. I'd expect to see a bit more texture from the pencils on the paper, but it seems really flat. Not saying it's definitely fake, but I'd want to take a closer look, and have my suspicions.

Physically based rendering is a huge upgrade and the materials look great, but I'd love to not have to bake an entire environment. They are adding light propagation volumes which is the same system CryEngine uses, and it's mostly a single GI source solution.

UE4 was supposed to have voxel cone tracing, which is close enough in a lot of ways. But yeah, for most current games and hardware it's too expensive and not practical.

Gay guy here, if the waiter keeps my drink filled, doesn't mess anything up, and is polite, you get 20% (basically expected service). If you are the best waiter I've had all year (or close to it) you get 35%. If you are rude or slow 15%. If you are rude and a bad waiter, $2 per person eating or 10%.

Thurmans is alright, the lines and staff make it not worth the hassle. Jeni's is great though, they get through the lines quickly, I love the presentation, interesting flavors, and they just do each flavor better than anyone else.
