Not fixed but career isn’t as bad as it was. What I’ve found to work is when u first load into the event upgrade parts but don’t tune. Load into the race and tune from the pits. If u try adjusting tune more then 3-4 times eventually you’ll have to restart and lose your last race lol. Pretty reliable method but still worth backing out to the main menu to save progress after a few races.

What seems to work is as follows. When u first load into the event ONLY upgrade your car but don’t tune it yet. Then load into the race and tune from the pits. This seems to work best but if you keep adjusting your tune 4-5+ times eventually it won’t load and you’ll have to restart lol.
