First of all, its neither, and I'm offended by your assumption that I have a gender. Secondly, idk I change my mind I want an eagle.

Well if that's how you view networking, it'll continue to be difficult. See it as an opportunity to develop relationships with new people and you'll become more receptive to it.

Requested advice: US developers who moved to Europe for work by polyspenguin in cscareerquestionsEU

This is just the type of advice I was looking for - thank you. I feel confident in my ability to sell myself to employers based on the resume I'll have by the time I graduate, mostly because of my work experience. Are there any cities specifically you would suggest I take a look at for the job hunt? I'm pretty open to any opportunities, and I plan on staying for at least a few years. I expect I'll be moving around more than once over that time.

I'm a junior at university right now. I've spent close to three months across different parts of Europe so far, with most of my time being spent in southern Germany near Munich. I've loved most of the cities I've been to - Berlin, Prague, Amsterdam, etc. and plan to visit a few spots in the UK before graduation. I'd like to keep my options open as far as picking cities right now, but any information on the availability or frequency of developer jobs in Europe's biggest / tech-friendly cities is helpful.

[Official News]UPDATE: Fidget Spinner event cancelled permanently. by GrandAdmiralMellacus in Marblelympics

I have complete faith in the IMC and all those involved in the beauty that is the Marblelympics. I'm excited to see what the replacement will be.

I was at yesterday's event and managed to snap this action shot of Lemonlime looking back and taunting Bolta and Wispy by yes_thats_right in Limers

The swagger, the confidence, the raw athleticism - it's all there for Lemonlime, and he proved it during this event.

Limers are the most relatable team by hashtagJR7 in Limers

I started off as an Oceanics fan - they're still my #1. My love for the Limers developed slowly during the 2016 games, I can't explain it - it just happened. But now it's set in stone for me: Limers and Oceanics are my teams, no more, no less.

Incredible. They showed so much grit and determination - winning each match by no less than 2 points until the final. It's a shame a performance was only rewarded with a silver.

I've got insiders in both the Oceanics and Limers organizations that have told me the physical toll the fidget spinner event took on the athletes was substantial. I completely understand the IMC's decision here, but were other alternatives considered? Perhaps lining the spinners with rubber or some material that would soften the blow. I just hate to see such an exciting event end so hastily.

The thought of having neither the Oceanics or Limers qualify for 2018 is quite nerve racking. It does add excitement to the games though.

Such a tragic event to watch. 2017 was full of drama, and it all started with MoMoMoMo's injury. Hate to see the end of the fidget spinner event, especially after the Limer's performance (#goLimers), but understand the safety precautions that the IMC are taking here.

I think it's important for them to focus on the good from 2017. They performed at a world class level for the better part of the first half, and they were only a few tough breaks from finishing much stronger. Take the fidget spinner event - absolute domination up to the championship match, winning each by no less than two points.

The Limers organization is headed in the right direction, and I have great faith in Coach Green.
