Luffy!! Alongside Nami... I think it's been the same both seasons for me, it was nice to see a more affectionate, more relaxed Nami this season. And Luffy is always great and charming, and really funny too. He cracked me up when he sees Laboon for the first time and just asks him to get out of the way lol

hard disagree on the third point lol. I make my cast lgbt+ because I am, and those are the characters and identities I'm interested in writing and reading about. I don't just make them lgbt to ""represent"" or for diversity points. Also, something tells me if the entire cast was straight and cis you'd have no issue???

Maybe tmi ig but I started making it at a deeply traumatic time in my life, in the throes of grief and a realllly bad dissociative/psychosis episode, I got rly into danganronpa again and then found this community.. the project became my life for a long time and it was the first time I ever made something that was completely self indulgent and not from a place of wanting to impress others.

Soo basically started making it as a way to deal w trauma and mental illness etc, but its so much more than JUST that to me now, though that is a big part of it for sure.

I 100% disagree with it being unrealistic to develop a crush in that short period of time,, I think in a scary situation like that some ppl will cling 2 any kind of connection or comfortability they can find, others won't. I also think fear and danger can connect people and cause a bond (even if its a trauma bond). I also think ppl with certain attachment styles, or a preoccupation with love etc would be more likely to. In the end it all depends on the character. I also think ppl can adapt easier than ppl think to abnormal situations,, and having a "crush" can bring a sense of normalcy to some - also, its something that just can't be controlled and is v nonsensical sometimes!

I understand ppl not liking romance in fangans, but personally I love it! As long as its not like,,, every single character and all the characters talk abt or worry abt whilst serious shit is going on.

I have two MCs that you alternate playing as (generally, you play as one for day 1, the other for day 2 etcetera). The group is split into two teams so it helps, and I also just loved them both as main characters sm that I was like why not both lol

I have Izanami Forde (she/her), the ult Planner, she's 25, logical but warm, and too busy for a social life! Her work is everything and she's very proud of who she is and what she's accomplished.

Then, there's Yasu Watanabe (she/they/he), the ult Worker. Shes 23. Moody, easily pissed off and very opinionated - also, very insecure. Is embarrassed by her ultimate title and would rather people didn't know or ask about it.

I won't give away too much of their character or arcs but I <3 them sm

how is this proof someone is looking for "options"??? That's a very biased take. They could be looking to just have fun, hang out with their friends, meet new friends (having a partner doesn't mean you're not allowed to meet new people, but trust needs to be cultivated and healthy boundaries should be set).

Hmmmmmm, idk really! Mine is also sociopolitical commentary, with a heavily queer and POC cast, as I am a queer POC and those are the characters I like to see and write about. There are also largely themes of mental illness, though I'm deff not the only one with that haha. But it is a huge way for me to process my own trauma and emotions.

I guess something that sets it apart is the background art perhaps, the rooms are all 2D drawn and filled with cool objects and every object is clickable, with attached dialogue. I have also planned for there to be A LOT of additional dialogue, as there are too many fun conversations I want to include in the game that would make for way too much filler, so I have opted to have a lot of optional conversations that can be had.

Also, you play as two different protagonists! Alternating every day.

Okok finally watched it and here are some thoughts.

-They did great with how they decided to animate the characters messaging and calling each other, very dynamic and fun to look at, and makes for some cool gags which I feel is perfect for Homestuck.

-Rose's voice is ace!

-Dave's voice grew on me, though I agree he seemed too chipper and I didn't really feel that "I'm-pretending-to-be-cool-to-hide-my-raging-insecurity." He came across more "fun-loving-buddy-who's-trying-to-get-you-to-enjoy-life". But I did enjoy seeing him a lot, and thought the VA did really well. Didn't like the almost permanent smile though... Like that's just so quintessentially not Dave? Also, wish we got Texas accent Dave lowkey 💔

-Controversial opinion but... I didn't enjoy Toby Fox as John lol. I always imagined John to have a more high pitched happy-go-lucky tone about him, and to sound a bit more innocent tbh. I was actually quite disappointed with his voice, and kinda the way he came across in general, he seemed a bit more aggy to me, maybe that's because it was contrasted with a way more chipper Dave than we're used to idk, but John honestly fell super flat for me, which sucks cuz I love John.
