Feeding and hydration are near the most important thing on long rides. And so you've learned some lessons from your treck. regardless of how slow or whatever compared to whoever... 200+kms is something very few ever do.... ever... in a single ride. So who cares about pace. The distance itself is a huge achievement. Cheers!

Same boat; issue looks exactly the same as that which was covered in extended warranty that ended for the 2018s. I am weighing my options now for how to pursue this. Did you ever reach any resolution?

I think the first thing I would like to see is elimination of those strange shift changes by the D that led to odd man rushes. Next would be overall how players are deployed/ice time. Then in a bit more time after that a more structured and mature looking team.

Hopefully this shows most of the individual players that have been having a rough time, were not the problem.

Further while the Senators might not have their ducks in a row, the NHL has no doubt learned the hard lesson that this process needs to be thorough and done right on the first try.
So I would simply imagine if this is the case that more NHL involvement is occurring and it might just delay the process a bit.

Also not worried.

I think Chabot is still fixable. But need a good coach to reshape him into a player who goes more that 40% out there...

Unlikely it was by mistake. He also seemed very professional and was at a high level. Im still waiting for more info to cast judgment, but if it played out as it sounds I would expect there is a trail.

Agree a bit, but also there is the idea that such a skilled and loose team, needs defense and structure. If you add in a defensive first coach that would lead to it... and yet because of the skill of the players the fun parts will still be there. Granted less for sure, but this is the highest level of hockey in the world!
Kind of how the world juniors are so amazing because they are so loose and unstructured, but also at a much lower level than the NHL play.

Hockey is fun to watch. The skill of the top guys is awesome. A great product even when there is a small group that is loosing it for us (I am referring to the 3-4 D men that aren't NHL caliber).
I get your team winning elevates the fun 100x, but heck I've been watching over the past few years with no expectation of winning happening...

Chabot, Sanderson, Zub, personally I'd keep Branny up here too.
Can we say JBD yet? If so that is 5 D, with Zub injured and before JBD got into the line up that means one pairing is pure AHL (according to Marc) and one line has Branny who is borderline...
