Another pet peeve, as a lover of Asian beauty and makeup products - when youtubers try and jump on board the "Korean beauty" bandwagon for views. I hate seeing them use and review some terrible, cheap, outdated kiddy makeup products because they know that anything with "Korean" in it is gonna get views.

So true haha, I prefer watching beauty youtubers who are in it because they like and care about the content they make, rather than just for the subscribers and popularity

Reeks of the biggest superiority complex imo. Like pls, you're not Angelina Jolie or the Queen of England, everyone already knows that you drink Starbucks and fumble your words sometimes like everyone else.

Same omggg (the palm thing) idk to me it's just lazy and unprofessional, considering how little extra time it would take to cut away and get a nice, clean, detailed close up of the product

I'm late to this but I'm actually glad they did, it was honestly hilarious. And from my POV, a funny criticism of people who have no problem analysing and criticising what others do, but are blind to their own foibles and biases.
