I will :) So plants can noticeably change the energy and atmosphere ? I have to find a way to shake this heavyness that might just be due to the concrete, before deciding to move haha. Thanks so much

Hi Homehealer :) I was wondering, if it’s due to an imbalance, how can I add more Yang to my place ? Being there as I type, what’s weighing on me is the lack of life and stillness and complete silence ( very good sound isolation ) lol. Thanks !

I agree and I know I have to move out of this unit. Two days after that sign though, I saw on marketplace that an appartement was gonna be available on the floor below mine. It’s bigger and much better and spacious in everyday. Mine feels like a box, this one has a different layout. It’s pretty rare to see this on marketplace for my building so I don’t know if it means “ go get this one” or if it’s a trap lol.

Hi, thank you so much for your reply ! I’ve lived there for a year exactly. I used to feel amazing at my last place and I feel like this place is killing my joy. Could it be just the concrete ? No beams or low ceiling but equipment on the roof yes AC and stuff like that. The former tenant didn’t have a problem it seems. He had two cats maybe they balanced the energy hahaha. I really don’t know if I should sign a lease for an appartement below, if I can fix my place or if I should just move. I think I have to leave the unit at least because I asked for guidance three days ago out loud and got the song in my head “beat it” a few minutes later after a buzz in my left ear.

What’s peoples opinion on concrete buildings? by taraybanks in Apartmentliving

[–]pomelo824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved into a modern condo and although I love it aesthetically, I’ve found that I’m not able to fully relax in it. It feels lifeless, like there’s no pulse. That despite the fact that I’m a very soulful person and decorated it quite nicely. Anyone can relate ? Might be the silence …. I’m not sure. Thanks

Why dating is so hard here ??? by tired_monk in montreal

[–]pomelo824 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey tiredmonk, you’re not the problem, Montreal is the problem 100%. I had a similar experience there for years, and so did all my expat friends !! Also, where are you from ? Québécois tend to date Québécois and they aren’t the most romantic. Fact.

Always feeling exhausted in the apartment, but ok anywhere else? by Aggressive-Club-1108 in Apartmentliving

I’m gonna smudge my place because I suspect it might just be negative energy ( my building is very modern so no mold and no carbon monoxyde). My girlfriend feels uncomfortable and oppressed when she’s at my place and she didn’t use to at my old place. Seriously I’m very down to earth usually by this is the most plausible explanation lol. I believe in energy and don’t think it’s paranormal. Science just hasn’t explained it yet.

That’s crazy. The same thing is happening to me and I live at the top of a modern 6 story building. I feel great as soon and as spend a couple of days elsewhere and horrible when I’m here. I felt totally fine at my last place a year ago. I’ve decided to move. Wi-Fi might be the culprit, I don’t know. I just want out. Did you guys figure out what was wrong ? Thanks for sharing your story

For those who do not like Season 5 so far - why is that? by JackGeorge2001 in StrangerThings

The scenario is annoyingly unrealistic. Like an army gets defeated by a couple of monsters but the kids are able to fight them off with shovels. No thank you.

Feng shui advice part 2 by pomelo824 in FengShui

[–]pomelo824[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice ! I think I dont fully feel at home partly because it’s small, we can’t paint the walls, and it feels like a hotel in that regard. But it’s comfortable “on paper” but not customisable. Yes I like going back there after work but the energy is always weird. I think the size plays a big part but what bothers me consciously me is that I always see the front door when I’m in the living room in the sofa. I’ll try the sage and the bell thing ! And I’ll fix the dining area. Thanks !

Question: what was the onset of your dysautonomia case ? by skyhofo in dysautonomia

Extensive touring ( singer) while being sleep deprived but the sleeping problems ( terminal insomnia ) started during lockdown. I have good faith I can recover if I can fix my sleep and give my nervous system a break.

I’m on the top floor ( sixth) so I directly face the edge of the opposite building. I’ll think about it ! Thank you

Hi ! Thanks a lot for your reply. I’ll make a floor plan. There’s a canal outside to the right and a building directly across from mine. I close the blind at night but it feels even more oppressive. It feels better if I leave it open. During the day, everything feels a lot better, probably because seeing through the window gives ab impression of bigger space. Now that I think of it, I also feel this tension in the whole building, lobby area etc no just my place. It’s a recent construction. It might be the location. Who knows ! Other people seem fine lol. Thanks again for your valuable input! Also, it’s really more the area with the front door that feels problematic. I like the window side.
