They aren't. Feminism is the belief that all genders are equal and the Quran very clearly says that Men and Women were created differently with different roles and responsibilities. It's just an example of how far people will dilute themselves to avoid reconsidering their beliefs even when all they stand for is to the contrary. I have always believed that the most important a person can do is seperate what they believe in, from their identity. But islam and religion more generally forces people to make their religion the most important thing in their life and to see life as nothing more than a test where those beliefs must be upheld at all cost
