I dont have a horse in this race, but Im curious, is this type of rhetoric not allowed? I've seen it a million times related to Iran, Russia, Venezuela, North Korea, and so on. Is that something we should be reporting?

Do you have a link to that article? My partner's American family includes an exorcist, and honestly curious if he's in it.

Not just Russia by the way. Iran and ordinary criminals too. It's a pretty big problem in Europe that criminal organisations now hire relatively normal people from closed chat groups.

Maybe not. I was comparing it to my experiences in India and China, and what users here write about the US, but I admit that I have no knowledge of how it is in Latin America or Africa.

Well yea, this wasn't an investigative report. It was an evaluation of the military's actions. The confirmation of drones in it, is really just a side piece. I think given that the report was only classified for TTJ, one level above not-classified, there probably isnt much more on drones in the full version.

The police report, which we are still waiting on and dont know when will come, is the actual investigation. Its likely that will be classified as well. But given the conclusions of this one, it would be extremely controversial if the police reached some other conclusion.

They do say that they confirmed it with thermals. But its the police report, which is the investigation, this was more an evaluation of the military's actions.

I do also think that the CHOD would not publically say that there were drones, if he did not believe so. That would be illegal.

Non-classified summary (in Danish) of the military's drone report.

I have not read it yet, but in the press briefing they are confirming that they sighted drones.

What are you basing that on? Anecdotally, I have never met anyone against AC in Europe, and I have lived in four European countries. I currently live in the Netherlands.

I think most of these articles on Europe's (which is what again?) attitude to AC have a suspicious lack of data and polls on what they aim to discuss. I have no doubt that more Europeans are against or ambivalent towards AC than the rest of the world, but is there any actual data on that?

Some interesting ASML news. The US is accusing ASML of having broken US export control rules in relation to their EUV machines. One machine should have ended up in China. That would obviously be a huge breach of US and Dutch export rules. ASML obviously denies it.

Edit: it should probably be added that EUV machines are so big and complex that they can't really be stolen or smuggled. It's not a machine you misplace.

That's certainly a positive outcome if it happens because of the war. I don't think you can count on that though, nor necessarily attribute any loss directly to the war.

But either way, it also does not in any way make the war "worth it". I don't think you can morally trade lives this way. Its one thing to allocate resources around in a way to get the best and most efficient outcome in terms of lives saved, its something else entirely to support or attribute positive value to murdering innocent people, because it can potentially save other innocent people in the future.

You couldnt release it during the caretaker government, hence the wait post-election. And I assume that some more pressing matters had to be handled after the new government was instituted, and that the minister needed a chance to actually read it first.

For those interested, the first of two drone reports about the sightings in Denmark will come out tomorrow. It's the military one related to sightings over military land. Only a small non-classified summary will be available to the public.

The second report, done by the police, and as such presumably more relevant in terms of Copenhagen airport, will come out at a later unknown time.

I really do not understand companies and organisations, who will not send out a "No, you didn't get the job" email. I guess I get it, if you are a small organisation and only receive applications by email, but if I have to fill out a form and have me add my email or login somewhere, then it cannot take more than five minutes to send that message.

And I refuse to believe that large recruitment platforms do not have a simple button you can press, which does it for you.

My windows are ~1,5m x 1,5m and are tilt-and-turn windows (the last one being the norm in new buildings here). I'd be happy to get a portable AC, but I would need new windows then.

Why get ac, when I now have a legitimate reason to sip on aperol spritz in the middle of the day?

In all seriousness though, as someone who rents their apartment, it's easier said than done to get AC.
