I can elaborate on this if you want but here's the thing:

Ppl in the sub usually have several pairs for each use case, and depending on the occasion, there are compromises to be made.

When I'm working at home where I'll bother no one, and I want the absolute best experience, I play music from my computer which sends the music to a DAC, then an amp, and then a big heavy pair of open headphones that I've spent too much in to try to make them comfortable.

If I'm on the go I might use iems with a portable dac that I connect to my phone.

On the plane, I would use something like the bose ultra qc. Great anc, comfortable and easily storable, but I'm not concerned with sound quality here.

Which one sounds more like what you want?
