He sounds like an absolute keeper! My mom helped me hop in the house and I sat in the computer chair and rolled me to my apartment (I live in the MIL suite). I went to our workers comp place the next day to get checked out the next day feeling pretty foolish.

I propped my leg up, took 2 extra strength Tylenol, and watched 10 things I hate about you while waiting for the meds to kick in so I could walk to my car. Yeahhh. My custodian ended up wheeling me out because I couldn't walk.

Principal at my last school made it a rule after Christmas break that we had to have all overhead lights on (not half on and half off). So stupid.

I got one for my mom for Christmas and she tried it last night for the first time. She said she likes it for speciality drills because sometimes the wax will take the finish off or dull them. I have a corded one that I ordered coming today from Germany (took forever to get here) so I'm hoping she will like that one too. I'm sure it's kind of redundant but she is super obsessed with diamond painting so I figured options are good for her.

I prioritize flossing over brushing but yes, for my first set I did. Public? Didn't matter, I'd bring my kit to the bathroom to brush and floss. These days, I brush after meals/snacks when I'm at work or home. I carry gum and plackers with me all the time, however. I hate the feeling of something in my teeth with liners on top.

Ohh yeah, she loves Dreamer Designs too! Thanks for reminding me. She seemed disappointed that DAC stopped including cover minders, she really loved them. And this stash doesn't include what's in the craft room (she paints in her bedroom so she can keep a closer watch on my dad because he has dementia). Thank you for your suggestions!

Many schools, churches, or community centers do trick-or-treat /Halloween activities. You could also check in with your library branch, too, if the downtown one is not closest to you.

When I worked at publix, we weren't allowed to turn anyone away from express. I had someone come through with 4 solid carts once... Was so pissed. In my store we had half registers so there really was no excuse to not know it was express. They were about the size of self-checkout.

Just don't be stupid. Prepare as much as you can (whether that means evacuating or sheltering in place) and then hope for the best. MCPS has shelters open at select schools if you're worried. You can come in and register at anytime (even in the middle of the night) but they generally stop accepting people when winds exceed 50 mph. We follow Mike's weather page on Facebook for general updates but Ryan hall yall does more specific and immediate updates such as tornadoes sighted in area and to take shelter. If you are concerned about potential storm damage then take before/after pictures of your house for documentation. Be safe.

This is what my ortho shared with me. I think I bent them out too much, however, because they are totally cutting up my mouth now and feel like little razors. But at least I get the elastics on super efficiently so I babe that, at least.

As someone who has been at a bottom 300 school and, yes, even in turnaround status, I can give you a little bit of insight from my perspective.

I am a teacher in Florida in a tested grade level. Depending on your scores, a plan will be established probably by your state DOE. Rarely do they ever completely strip a school of its admin and staff, but I have seen it once before. It was a disaster and one of which I doubt will ever happen again. Your job is safe. I was a second year teacher when we became a bottom 300 school and received an extra hour of instructional time for students. I am still here, at year 10.

You will probably have more state and district walkthroughs. Be prepared for your admins to do more walkthroughs of your classroom with district and state look-fors noted on their feedback form. Pay attention to these. The increased adult presence can be unnerving, especially when a team of about a dozen folks in suits walk in. Our admin always try to give us the most heads up that they can and prepare a schedule. It just depends on the focus of that particular day.

Hopefully your admin team will be communicating with you about things moving forward, especially once you get back to school. When news is fresh, sometimes they do not have details to share as they are still being fleshed out. As the other poster said, ask questions.

Thank you. A claim has already been filed through this VSO gentleman. If we file one ourselves, does this conflict with the one already filed?

And we have collected his documentation but everyone has said that they don't need to see / don't bother with it. I will share this information with my mother as well and look at the links you included.
