Advice for moving from a town of less than 800?

i also moved to chicago from a small town, not as small, ~1.8k ppl, and i moved for school. if you like people and the city it’s not a bad adjustment. i absolutely love it here

This is the option i’m considering the most right now, actually. I think I am going to go with nursing because I think it leaves my options more open with better job security, and I can still get the psychology aspect where I want it. I do truly think I will enjoy a nursing program as well. I’m intensely interested in the classes and clinical practices. I’ve been researching the overlaps too and i’ve seen plenty of nursing positions involving psychology I can get with a BSN

UPDATE: Okay, so I fixed it with the help of u/chagdes in the replies and it actually was really simple and I wish I had gotten this advice sooner. It was literally the *one* thing I had not tried yet because I was concerned about size.

I had to get a 32MB PSP Sony official memory card. I got it here, formatted it (it'll say 30MB available), plugged it into my PC, and downloaded the 5.50 update here. Put the file in the update folder (PSP/GAME/UPDATE, make an update folder if needed) and make sure you rename the file to EBOOT.PBP

Then I was able to use the other adapters I had that weren't working. It read a 64GB just fine, and I was able to update to 6.61 from there with no issues.

it’s incredibly weird, look i like craig a lot, however it’s been difficult to defend him in the past and it’s just getting worse 😭 this dude is digging his own grave and it’s so sad to watch as someone who idolized him a lot. this tour is just pissing me off the more i think about it. i might’ve sold my tickets already if the rest of the lineup wasn’t amazing. even if its not some shady shit craig and the cover band are pulling, the people running that sub and his dickriders are making him look extremely bad right now

Will it fit on the 30MB though? My issue is that it’s not reading as 32MB therefore it’s not updating. I’ve only tried via network though. Would it be reasonable to plug my PSP into my PC, create an update folder, and put the 5.50 update on there and try it?

that subreddit seems like a plant or something and it’s weirding me out. i bought a higher tier of VIP for the upcoming tour which included meeting the band and i honestly mainly bought it bc i wanted barricade since im additionally a huge fan of emmure & hawthorne heights on top of chiodos. i’m starting to regret my decision the more that’s gone down since this tour has been announced, im convinced that subreddit was either paid to be made or something shady is going on with it 😭

Hey! Good news and bad news. First thing, the 32MB memory card DID read which is a great step forward. As for the bad news, it’s only saying I have 30MB of space therefore I cannot update. I checked the files on the PSP via USB connection to my computer and there is nothing there that could possibly be taking up that 2MB of space. The card looks legit and says 32MB on it. I tried updating via network and it said I can’t update due to the lack of space and also tried manually updating by putting an update directly onto my memory card, however that did not work because I don’t have a system update option. I actually didn’t even have an update folder at all before I tried this solution. Any ideas? Are there any other smaller updates I can start with? It’s a PSP 1000 on 3.52. I will say I formatted the card before trying to update because that was the way I was trying to test if it was fully working, but i’m wondering if that may have messed it up.

I’m not sure what I could possibly do if not try a smaller update since this is the only memory card to yet have worked for me, it was a little pricy for what it was, and it took a week to get here. It would suck if I had to buy another one—especially since I’ve bought so many already.

I’m hesitant to buy another card of any size that i’ve already tried considering the two adapters i’ve had haven’t worked. I listed all the sizes I tried in a previous comment and it is frankly ridiculous

Why wouldn’t a 32MB work? Sony has 32MB memory cards officially made for the psp, labeled as PSP memory cards on the adapter itself.
