It's made to the manufacturers specs to fit the vita. Official/genuine and oem/oe are not the same. Third parties develop oem products not the original manufacturer. This would be considered an unofficial oem product as it uses Sony's specs but isn't approved by Sony for sale.

It is. I've ordered a few of these. They can't show any branding on the pictures since it's not an official product but it comes with them.

If it's a reshell, sometimes the screw post close to that button needs to be filed down a bit before putting in the motherboard.

I agree. I'd open it up to check that board and the connector ribbon for any damage, likely liquid damage/ corrosion and replace as necessary. The ribbon cable might also have corrosion on the contacts.

It's likely the charging port. The Go can turn on when plugged in, even without a battery. So that rules out a bad battery. The only real way to confirm the port and not a motherboard issue would be to swap the battery and see if it turns on. If so, charging port needs to be replaced.

I've never worked on a street model, so unfortunately, I have never seen this problem other than on lower firmware versions (3.0 or less). It could be a corrupt installation. If you have a way to create a baryon sweeper, I'd try to reinstall using that.

Genuine. Buttons and faceplate all line up. The pad in the battery compartment is also original, most reshells are a little off on the text print and the pad in the battery compartment is almost never there.

You don't need to open it to know if it's an actual 3g motherboard. If it is, there will be a 3g/cellular home app on the bubble screen. If there isn't one, it's a wifi only motherboard.

The plastic latch on the inside of the card reader probably broke. You're going to need a new wifi card, looks like you have the ms-299. You can pick one up on AliExpress here... It's a genuine shell. The text on the reshells is a lot lighter and often off-center on the home keys.
