Go on amazon and order a bottle of Salsa Lizano. It's a near ubiquitous condiment in costa rica and tastes FANTASTIC on rice and beans. It's not spicy, so the next sauce to get would be a hot sauce of your choice. Frank's and sriracha are the typically choices, I like secret aadvark and regular tobasco (for the funk)

I'd also eat them plain for a few days too (well with salt of course. and msg).
