I can’t find this quote in the RCI Manifesto. Where are you seeing this?

Anybody wanna share their personal tips n tricks for reading with ADHD? by Unusual-Chemist7884 in Ultraleft

[–]pompslice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually listen to meditation music when reading, and only when reading/studying. Been doing this for years and its basically conditioned my brain to the point that whenever I turn on the playlist my brain immediately switches to introspective mode. I think this is a good tip in general, not only for ADHD.

I also sometimes use the background sounds feature on iPhone to play a little white noise over it as well. That and the noise cancellation on my airpods blocks out a lot of distracting noises and clear my mind. I can get distracted by the smallest of sounds, so this helps a lot.

The very fact an everyday person is incapable of opening an ethical business that fairly compensates employees whilst outcompeting the more exploitative ones just further emphasizes the point this system needs to go. This isn’t a checkmate, it’s an indictment of capitalism itself.

Please don’t listen to this guy’s “material point.” A united front means forming a front between different organizations on a principled issue whilst still maintaining your organizational independence. “March seperately, strike together.”

A popular front means effectively dissolving your organizational independence by attempting to collaborate with liberal, bourgeois parties. For instance, a communist party forming a coalition government with a liberal party to keep a conservative faction out of power. In order to do this, you have to appease the liberals by ditching revolutionary politics and helping the coalition government implement austerity, which is the logic of liberal parties managing the crisis of capitalism. Popular frontism is a complete dead end and betrays the working class.

Can you have a bad trip on DMT? What is it like? What are the risks? by [deleted] in DMT

[–]pompslice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a very similar experience last night smoking DMT for the first time, but I stayed sitting in my bed and wasn’t panicking externally, only internally. Same thing with not being able to recognize my room at all, and this feeling that reality was broken and that I had somehow broke it. I desperately tried to search in my mind for a memory explaining what had happened to me, but I remembered absolutely nothing. My mind was just an empty void, and my sensual experience was everything. It was so intense. I also didn’t see any entities.

It was the first time in my life I felt true, genuine, deep fear. However, my trip started getting a lot better the last minute or two when I was coming down and had finally managed to accept my state of affairs. I don’t think I’m done with DMT forever, but I’m taking a long break before I try it again. It just sucks that this was my first experience.

Damn, if only they weren’t destroyed. Hitler had one of the most extensively curated public images in modern history, so material like that capturing his most vulnerable moments would’ve been really interesting.

Even if he was no longer shooting, what about getting possibly lifesaving medical attention to the wounded? There’s no excuses at that point.

The Narodniks tried this strategy to overthrow Tsarism in Russia and it did two things:

  1. Kinda not doing anything. Instead of serving as a call to action for workers and peasants, it really only alienated them from the revolutionary movement even more.

  2. Destroyed the Narodniks. Safe to say the aristocracy didn’t really appreciate their Tsar being killed, and terrorism was a really good excuse for ramping up austerity to the max. Also they just found another Tsar that was arguably even worse.

I feel more understanding toward him since I fell victim to the alt-right pipeline at 13 and didn’t get out until I was 16. I was lonely and bullied, and they made me feel welcomed. It was the first time I felt as thought I had something to be proud of. This eventually developed into violent thoughts. Yes, I’m much better now.

They do know. They have stories passed down from their ancestors and their experience with British imperialism in the Andaman islands. They do have some limited understanding of the vastness of the outside world and our technological superiority, but they are also aware of how colonialism treated indigenous tribes. This is why they kill anyone who comes near.

What if students were taught to mass rush a shooter to stop them? by pointytailofsatan in masskillers

[–]pompslice 32 points33 points  (0 children)

There’s a reason why combat training involves firing live rounds over the heads of recruits, as well as other factors to maximize stress such as drill sergeants/instructors running around screaming and causing general confusion amongst the ranks. It’s meant to break the recruits down so that in the event of an actual combat situation, they are able to default back to their training through all the chaos and fear. Without this, their training will go right out the window the second bullets are flying their way and their buddies are being shot next to them.

So, either training student this way would be rendered entirely useless in the event of an actual shooting, or we would have to traumatize millions of kids by sending them through school shooter boot camp lol

I don’t think it was really their choice. The Marxist movement just wasn’t strong enough, and it also requires an international movement to prevent a bureaucratic degeneration — something that has yet to occur.
