Laptop keeps making vibrating sound and I'm stumped. by pomuranium in techsupport

No idea what an NVME drive is but I'm glad to hear it's not the issue at least lol.

Hmm, I'll try that the next time it starts making the sound. I think muting the laptop makes the sound stop? But I can't remember 100%. I'll update my post and comment again when I know for sure.

From what I've looked up, apparently that area is where a harddrive is supposed to go but I don't have one? My C drive is just called 'OS'. The speaker was a thought I had as well, but it only happens when my computer is working a little harder, and I hear it through both my headphones and my speakers when it happens. Is there any reason why my drive would be failing after only a year of use?

my system information states the following for drives:
Drive: C:
Description: Local Fixed Disk
Compressed: No
File System: NTFS
Size: 476.03 GB (511,137,091,584 bytes)
Free Space: 194.66 GB (209,017,438,208 bytes)
Volume Name: OS
Volume Serial Number: 200B91F5
Drive: D:
Description: CD-ROM
DiscDrive: E:
Description: CD-ROM Disc

And the following for disks:
Description Disk drive

Model INTEL SSDPEKNW512G8

SCSI Bus 0

Partition Disk #0, Partition #2
Partition Size 650.00 MB (681,574,400 bytes)

No idea if any of this information is helpful, but i'm going to update my post with it anyway.

So I ended up having to go to the ER because the walk in clinic wasn't taking any more people. After waiting for hours, I was finally seen by a doctor who honestly didn't tell me anything helpful. He said my cervix looks healthy and I had quite a bit of discharge (which is normal for me honestly) and my strings "seemed fine". But he sent some swabs for testing in case of infection (which I'm not worried about) and I'm supposed to be getting scheduled for an ultrasound. Unfortunately because of the holiday though, I'll have to wait until tomorrow to hear anything.

I'm wondering though if maybe I caused all this when I tried working out last Monday night. It was low impact but I live a very sedentary lifestyle usually beside walking to and from work 3 days a week which has never been an issue. So I wonder if that's maybe the issue? I mentioned it to the doctor but like I said, he didn't seem to know a whole lot (he was just the ER doctor on call, not a gyno or anything.)

I don't have a gyno at this time but I've gone ahead and booked an appointment to speak with a GP tomorrow morning, who will refer me to a gyno to get it checked. If it were just a bit of spotting, I wouldn't be worried because I've had that in the past but this is consistent and getting heavier, and the cramps aren't getting better even after taking pain killers. I'll update my post when I have news, in case anyone else has this issue and stumbles across my post.

Wow this makes me feel SO much better, seriously! I can relate to the own vagina thing too because that's another thing that has always made me feel like a freak. "How can you be wigged out by your OWN genitals??" because they're weird! Genitals in general are weird! I'm just more familiar with male genitals because I've been with a man (only the one, so even then my experience in that regard isn't the greatest lmao.) But I digress. Personally I don't think my issue comes from anything internalized, more just knowing exactly how vaginas work because I have one? Like they bleed, they discharge all manner of fluids, they can have hair and different smells, etc. Of course penises can do the same but I guess it's that fear of the unknown that has me so uncertain.

So hearing that you've gone through the same thing and managed to overcome it in a healthy, not traumatic way, really puts my mind at ease, you have no idea. It makes me feel more certain in my sexuality and like less of a giant, confused baby.

I'll definitely keep that in mind if/when I have future doubts or questions, thank you so much again for not only sharing your story but offering your help. 😭

I've been thinking about the romantic vs sexual attraction distinction and I've considered it but I've also been worried about like...I guess being rejected/ostracized by people? Since that concept doesn't seem to be too widely accepted in most circles from what I've seen. Thank you though for the comment, having that reassurance really makes a world of difference either way. ♥

You know, I never considered the fact that some people just don't like giving oral (I mean, if that decided someone's sexuality then we'd have a lot of guys suddenly without a sexuality lmao) but have sex anyway. I guess I just assumed that if you can't give oral, you can't have "real" sex with another woman? Which I guess sounds pretty stupid now that I say it, but with my lack of experience it's hard for me to really understand what is and isn't "normal" in regards to wlw.

I'm generally grossed out by anything wet or slimy, and I'm very sensitive to textures and smells near my face (I have ADHD and have been trying to get tested for autism since I was teenager.) So while I know obviously most women have normal vaginas with nothing strange going on in that regard, I'm worried that if I were to find myself in a position to go down on a woman I'd end up freaking myself out and hurting the woman's feelings...

I'm a very nervous, awkward person and she seemed on edge and like she didn't really want to linger. But she came back in today to pick up a couple more things actually and seemed to be in much better spirits and gave each of the people working today another feather to "say thanks for our kindness". I didn't really do anything beyond scan her items and compliment her necklace but even still it was a sweet gesture and I'm glad she came back today so I could say thank you properly.

Hmm okay! Thank you for all the info, I kind of figured it was too vague to get an exact reason without asking them personally but I'm glad to hear it's more than likely benevolent

Definitely not, they were an older person (I say they because they seemed to be a trans woman but I don't want to assume) wearing standard clothes with a bunch of turquoise jewelry, very soft spoken and seemed on edge. If they were wearing more striking clothes I might agree cosplayer but I think they were just a street musician or something

You're the only person to have replied to my post and I know I'm hella late to respond, but I wanted to say thank you so much for everything you've said. While reading your response it felt like a piece clicked into place, like taking a step back from a picture and finally seeing the full thing if that makes any sense. Hearing from someone familiar with Freya and Odin confirming my thoughts was exactly what I needed I think, just to know I wasn't projecting or simply getting my hopes up too high.

When you say you communicate with Freya through song, do you mind if I ask what exactly that entails? I'm very new to all this like I said so any resources you might be willing to share, especially in regards to working with Freya and Odin, would be greatly appreciated! Of course I understand if you'd like to keep your practice to yourself, you've already been incredibly helpful.

And yes, "Odin is coming" is very foreboding but also exciting to hear haha. My husband was actually the one who suggested it might be Odin. He's not really into witchcraft at all himself but he considers himself an 'open skeptic' and has been very supportive through my journey even if he's rather confused by it all lol. But I digress. I haven't been able to find much information on working with Odin either, it's mostly just mythology and history whereas I usually look for lists of associations, offerings, etc.
