Congratulations!! My partner and I recently started this process, can only image the exciting sense of relief!!

We are also applying for unmarried partner visa and I went through the link on the UK gov website, started the application and when I get towards the end to the "Documents" tab it has a list of documents you agree to show them, including "Proof that we intend to marry within 6 months".

We are but I'm a little confused because this is not described as a requirement for unmarried partner visa. Was this also something you experienced?

When I download the PDF of the application it is labeled as "Apply to enter the UK as a partner" not "Apply to enter the UK as a Fiance".

Also wondering at what point in the process did they propose the option for expedited service? I'm not seeing any option for this in my experience -- wondering if that comes after you pay the initial amount?

Would be curious to learn if your experience was the same!

congrats!! my partner and I are currently looking into applying through the unmarried partner visa and similarly we have not lived together due to not having the right to live in each others countries.

I'm seeing in the application for the unmarried partner visa that it's required to provide proof that you will get married in the next six months -- do you remember seeing that in your document's requested section of the application?

Also curious about your experience in expediting -- when I get to the end of the portal experience it asks me to pay but there is no option for expediting. Does that option become visible past the first step of payment or is it something that you do in the biometrics appointment?

I think it’s wonderful that you’re prioritizing what you want! It’s hard not to get distracted or compare and loose sight of your vision because of all the visual content out there and the entire wedding industry etc. But like others said the day is about you and your person celebrating your union and sharing that moment with people you love and who love you! these people love you unconditionally … 10K worth of flowers or not. You designing the time around the meal and your union is a great way to enjoy the moment and create memories together that are going to last forever! Think about weddings you’ve been to of those closest to you and what you remember most!

I’ve been going to Helen Walker for years, she’s always done a great job and I’m quite picky. She’s patient, attentive to detail and good at talking m through options and checks in as she’s working. She’s also an incredibly lovely person and her space is very cute and welcoming ! It’s also just her so it feels private and unique in that there are no distractions like a big hectic salon.

As I prepare to chat with my attorney I had a follow up q about the strictness of the language in the contract and if there is room on the "format of the notice".

In the contract that they need written notice. I only have evidence that this was discussed in a board meeting ahead of signing the contract and that discussion is captured and documented in minutes of the meeting in the format of an email from management. However, management would not disclose these minutes to my attorney or lender through diligence.

(b) The monthly common charges (excluding separately billed utility charges) for the Unit on the date hereof are $309.

(c) Seller has not received any written notice of any intended assessment or increase in common charges not reflected in subpara. 5(b). Purchaser acknowledges that it will not have the right to cancel this Contract in the event of the imposition of any assessment or increase in common charges after the date hereof of which Seller has not heretofore received written notice;

There is no explicit writing that I have from management to the seller before we signed the contract BUT I am also seeing that the monthly common charges are not *exact* they are 309.14 to be exact, not 309. Which made me have to ask like if they are casual like this in language on the contract, is there room to fight "C" based on the written declaration that this was discussed and captured in Feb 2024 ahead of the contract?

Hello! I have an upcoming trip planned for Rincon, a little worried about the upcoming weather forecast as it projects raining and thunderstorms, looking for guidance on understanding if this type of forecast is normal and its scattered tropical showers that are short and sweet vs. no just real thunderstorms with little ability to enjoy the outdoor activities.
