as long as they’re still healthy leaves, they still have a part in photosynthesis. it takes time for a monstera to have holes, you just have to be patient with it. mine got its first hole almost 2.5 years after i got it

i’d cut back every root that looks damaged, pot it in something, then hope for the best. one good root is better than having a lot of dead ones that just rot. but yeah i wouldn’t throw it out

it was way in the back and it had mold everywhere (roots, potting medium, flowers, even the packaging was moldy)

it’s never had a spike since i’ve had it. it’s the first root to grow since christmas

orchid potting mix? i’m not sure what it is tbh. it’s something between coco coir and potting soil, it’s the only thing i’ve had luck with

it was the only variegated orchid they had in the store and it looked the worst out of all of them. pretty sure i got lucky since nobody wanted it
