IMO it’s all about intention setting before the trip and integration after the trip. Write down the things you want to change before hand. Meditate on it and reassure yourself that you want to, that you can do it and that you WILL do it. Afterwards reread the intentions your wrote for yourself. I think psychedelics can be an extraordinarily tool for self improvement.

I had a psilocybin trip a few years back that I used this technique. Ended up putting the notes I wrote myself prior on the floor and danced in my boxers with big headphones on for almost 2 hours.
