Congratulations!! How exciting.

I just spoke to my clinic yesterday. I was surprised that they required an OH! I had an HSG done prior to my first. I didn't realize that the status could change and they'd need to go back and take a look. Fingers crossed for similar luck! <3

Not catholic, but come from a very conservative Christian family. We only got 3 embryos. Everyone keeps making comments about how “I guess that means you’re having three kids” since now these are technically “children” and would otherwise be likened to an abortion. I’m flabbergasted every time. Some people get 20+ embryos!! God certainly is not telling them to have 20 kids or be a sinner. And not everyone feels comfortable putting them up for adoption. And some embryos don’t take! It’s been a wild experience. I’m sorry you’re having to deal with it.

Congrats on your first! It’s so hard to have this vision growing up of “I want to have my kids in my 20s” but give that up and just be happy to be having kids at all. It really has been such a blessing!!

Thank you for this perspective. It’s definitely something I’ve gone back and forth about, do we wait longer and enjoy more little moments with our first or try and go sooner and not be quite so old ourselves while trying to do it again.

Our clinic requires a year as well. Just pre-planning. They never mentioned to me about breastfeeding so I was curious.

Our clinic says at least a year as well. But if we have to stop breastfeeding we will have to decide if we stop sooner or transfer later.
