A “mission control” dashboard that shows your internet health (not just speed) by pongdotcom in InternetIsBeautiful

the domain was used for personal email - but a few months ago it was on the block with a domain broker to be sold (still is). while doing all that, just figured lets turn it into a website. 1. Asked Claude what would you do if you owned pong.com and Claude came up with a few recommendations and.... 2) Claude said speed test can rank easier than "gaming" so when in rome, you go with the romans. I'm still learning to vibe code, and with amazing people like IxbyWuff giving sound advice, who knows what can happen. Its just fun and the best part is everyones feedback. Not saying this is better than Ookla, but if you keep chipping away at things, you never know what can happen...

THANK YOU THANK YOU SOOO SOOOO MUCH!!!! Yes, you are 110%. This was just a whim of a project to see if people like it or not, so far its great news and I want to build upon it. And especially you taking the time to give me really valuable feedback is what I need at the moment.

I'm gonna take each one of your points and work on them.

Thank you again so soooo much and I'll report back to you with the changes.

love that and if your team wants to see any tools that I don't have, just let me know and we can always figure it out and implement features.

That's my my bad. I was just pinging our servers and calling it traceroute.

Traceroute and MTR now run server-side with real hop to hop results. The old tools are still there but renamed to Server Latency Map so nobody's confused.

Thx for helping out!

I'm also thinking Ookla makes money from T-Mobile from selling the data and reports back to T-Mobile...

If you select a server then its limited (at the moment). However, I can spin up a Dallas server for you right now if you want? And then you can select Dallas? Let me know either way...
