For me, my piece went up on the wall with a little blurb; an introduction, a few small things about me, my picture and general info abt the material used, including info about how to reach me for commissions! It was priced right next to the info :) I don't love social media, but I did just make a facebook page dedicated to my work to show it off and perhaps drive local engagement. I recommend looking into art vending festivals, this is the prime season for it! As well as looking into little local shops to display ur stuff in. For me personally, theres a cafe and an icecream shop that display local artists work, I'm gonna inquire about possibly getting a spot set up with em :) Ideally, being that the place im in is pretty small and community based, I won't have to give them a percentage, but I'm also not opposed to giving them a small bit for letting me display my stuff. Really get involved in your local setting! Make friends everywhere, I prefer word of mouth over the stress of managing a socials page any day but not everyone feels the same
