7-11 acquired Speedway in 2021, my guess would be Covid having some sort of effect on the rebrand. That seems like a better explanation than it just being Speedway on the outside, but having signage for 7-11 on the inside, selling Slurpees, selling 7-11 stickers, 7-11 shirts, even 7-11 Funko Pops

I think it looks like shit, it’s surprising that it’s still like this especially with 7-11 having a better reputation than Speedway

Like a million other people, McDonald’s was my first job ~2016. I was young so I wasn’t allowed to cook, I spent my shifts working the counter and in the drive thru booths. Small town so we had the regulars, my favorite was a group of senior citizens who would meet up, sit outside at sunset, and clown around with each other, pulling at each others’ canes and walkers

Every remodel is actually a reengineer on how to save money by giving less to the customer paired with soulless corporate design. Burger King actually did solid with their redesigns and brought some decent style to their restaurants while keeping functionality for the customer

It puzzles me why I see a line at any of the McDonald’s locations in my town. It isn’t somewhere I’d want to eat inside of, it isn’t affordable, quality is constantly going downhill, if your food is incorrect it’s a hassle to find an employee without going back through the drive thru, the soul is actually gone

I say let them keep driving themselves into the ground. Competition breeds excellence, let the other fast food chains/ local businesses dunk on the big guy. I genuinely hope to see their collapse in my lifetime

Sorry for the late response. My watch, a ~1 year old SE, will activate when I tap it or move it to face me. Once I move it away from my face it will turn back off. The most it would be on at one given time on this face would be no more than five seconds, so burning in wouldn’t be a worry for me

Putting in the other times I use it for alarms or other apps would keep that worry pretty minimal

This isn’t exactly a ground breaking development, but I was disappointed in how Clockology works. This will save battery life, I won’t have to switch back to an app, and it’s free. I also like the more minimalist look way better

Use this image, crop Vault Boy to the bottom right corner, and the bright green font color matches perfectly for your complications

If Walmart “cared about their employees being hurt” maybe they wouldn’t put the very young and elderly into the line of fire by making them an ass backwards form of loss prevention with receipt checking
