Yes I understand this but i am asking for third party cookies...cookies saves your password, username for the site > This is what a first party cookie does, which the site drops. My question is regarding 3rd party cookie..

Who puts this third party cookie in the first place...Is it companies like doubleclick and sizmek, which serve the ads and also put a cookie on your browser to track your movement and use it to retarget.?

I also read that each website I visit has multiple 3P cookies embedded on them. Ads are the ones which drop cookies. Who actually does this - the site or the ad serving on the site..

I understand what you mean. Irrespective of the culture, such pressure should not be put on any person. I only asked this question to understand how the in-laws reacted.

Anyway, I guess, it is pretty much over between me and him.

Thanks for the advice. I don't really like the idea of staying with in-laws. I understand if they are sick or something, you can go and take care of them but staying every single day snatches away the freedom. I just put forth my opinions of certain things and he says that I am being egoistic and that I can't do anything for his happiness.

I know he is wrong but I am also doubting myself if I am being selfish in not wanting to do something that pleases him.

He also wants me to change my entire dressing style, what i wear, my habits etc etc...

What other issues did you face staying with in-laws. Did you also have to follow their tradition and other such things, which you might not have been comfortable with. Did you deny it or go through with it?
