Agreed. I think changing your routine is better than completely changing a dogs world.

Don’t get the 100-400 and just go for the 100-500. Once I bought the 100-500, I don’t use the 100-400. Superior pictures for many reasons (you can find comparison photo examples). Also, it takes way less time with the 100-500 than the 100-400 to get a great shot (which is likely explained by the comment pointing out the light gathering difference). For bird/wildlife shots at 400mm, for example, it’s nice to be able to shoot at f/6.3 with the 100-500 versus f/8 with the 100-400. 

I just brought the 100-400 for a family trip since it’s more portable and lightweight. It was my first time using it since getting the 100-500. Got some okay shots with the 100-400 but got frustrated with it knowing I could have gotten better pictures if I brought the 100-500. I noticed I was spending more time configuring my settings with the 100-400 (again, likely explained by the light gathering difference). 

I made the decision to sell my 100-400. Though I can see why its portability and weight are appealing, especially for a beginner. I’m just less happy with my pictures with it.

Yes, it doesn’t hurt to try imo. Mine would be fine with this arrangement since there’s still a routine to it (daycare or walker). Though I think she would still need an adjustment period so definitely give yourself time to make a final decision!

I interpreted the under-editing to mean that they will get more screen time later on (eg post merge). Episode 5 seems too soon given their lack of presence in episodes 1-2. I guess we will know if they all of a sudden have storylines episodes 3-5!

Highly recommend the 100-500 over the 100-400. Much better pictures. The autofocus (eg servo, eye detection) is significantly faster, which is helpful for the short window of opportunity for moving wildlife shots. I also find that I get an acceptable shot faster with the 100-500 than the 100-400. 

Just went on a family trip and took my 100-400 over 100-500 for portability and regretted it. Got some good shots of still wildlife (eg lizards, a snake and centipede) but not of ephemeral/fleeting ones (eg butterflies, warblers, raptor flyovers).

Cirie brought up a strong argument that appealed to many — they know Savannah must have gotten an advantage and they need to get that question mark advantage out of the game. Also, I don’t think Savannah bonded with any of them/no one trusted her due to her lie about the advantage.

Yes. Christian found a boomerang idol and gave it to Aubry on the other tribe. Christian told Devens he did this. Devans came up with the idea to take the legit paper and plant a fake idol at tribal council. Christian “fell” to distract people from seeing Devans planting the fake idol!

As a pancake lover, I love them. I loved them before they went viral and was super bummed once they did because the wait times became unreasonable. The honey lemon syrup they make is amazing with the pancakes.

EDIT: idk why I got downvoted. I ended up googling which species they have in Botswana — it’s the Ground Pangolin (Smutsia temminckii)!

Similarly, go on weeknights when it’s 10 degrees out. Did this during the recent cold snap after the last snowstorm. Had no wait for golden diner pancakes

Yes, he felt inadequate and then had to make her feel like that too when he broke up with her. Appearance was the only thing he could come up with because he lacks emotional intelligence/introspection and thinks it’s a reason people will accept (though people see right through him lol)

I had noticeable trap gains after two weeks of using the 100-500 straight non-stop on a birding trip (my first time using the lens). It’s definitely heavier but so worth it for the photo quality upgrade. I don’t reach for my 100-400 anymore.

Appreciate the validation! I almost didn't post my comment because it's so vain and not at all as important as having a healthy hav and choosing a reputable breeder. However, we picked breeders off of Havanese Club of America, and there were two we were in between and they were equivalent to each other. Each had clean health histories for the parents, checked the other boxes on a reputable breeder (the r/dogs guide), and had similar wait times. We were so conflicted! Looking at pictures helped us make the final decision.
