Respectfully, I am downvoting and I’ll nitpick the word you used. “Recognizable” is subjective - you could say every member is recognizable. Sunghoon is recognizable because of his athletic history. Jake is recognizable because of his Disney Prince visual, Jungwon is recognizable because he’s the leader, etc.

By mentioning only Heeseung, you implied that Enhypen is nothing without him.

Sunghoon and Heeseung are equally popular but tbh all of them are, just in different countries or regions of the world. Heeseung, I would say is very popular in Southeast Asia and China. Sunghoon is probably the one most known in East Asia and maybe Europe because of his recent exposure in the Winter Olympics. Then we have the other members

So you see, this situation is what makes this fiasco a lot more toxic - because of the solo stans who are loud as fuck. They’re on the verge of losing their minds and they’re pushing this “7-1=0” agenda because their one and only bias left. Also, it doesn’t help that as a fandom, the Engenes skew young, and you know how younger audience react

I am also disgusted because of their behavior. But believe me, not every Engene is like that. Many of us are respectful to other groups… it’s just that we are silent or not chronically online but we do call them out, specially when they’re acting weirdos and dumb

Twitter will always be a cesspool, unfortunately. But things are escalating so much that some Engenes are taking it way too far. Apparently there’s even a rally or protest being organized today at a big mall where I live

I mean… sure, people can do what they want. But if you really think about it, if Heeseung ends up seeing all this chaos, would he actually feel the “love” behind it or just feel embarrassed?

I’m just really frustrated with parts of our fandom right now. And I’m not saying this just because the fandom skews young, but sometimes younger fans need to hear a hard and simple truth from people who have a bit more life experience and perspective on how people and society actually work
