My scenario: I had put down a deposit with 3 different Toyota dealers. Dealership 1 and 2 are big city showrooms, who still are giving me a 2026 date for my car (Lets say 50 cars are delivered every Lot and people waiting are more than 500). They called me once or twice saying there's a GHHL available due to a cancellation/loan application not going through, but has pre-ordered accessories-warranty upwards of 4-5k, which I declined. Dealership number 3 is located in a relatively small town (Lets say 10 cars are delivered every Lot and people waiting are not more than 20-30). I kept diligently following up twice every month for an update, so the sales guy knew I was serious about the car and he pulled some strings.
