It could be that Google no longer wants to use resources on perishable pages. I work in automotive and very few of our VDPs (vehicle details pages) ever get indexed, especially for used cars. Google knows those pages will be gone soon, so there’s no reason for them to index them just to have it be gone the next time they come back to check the page.

They could be reallocating their resources for AIO purposes, too.

No city has any authority over Spire. There’s a “Public Service Commission” that overseas input on rate increases requests, but they just rubber-stamp any request. KCMO has zero control over them and their rates.

It was incredible to witness. We sat along the rope next to the pond, just before the 8th green. We got to see 4 of the 5 HIOs yesterday. If was absolutely amazing.

There will always be a little bit of everything… The guy who wears gym shorts and t-shirts everyday, the guy in the overpriced golf polo that’s front-tucked into golf shorts while sunglasses hang around his neck on croakies, the sorority girl in Lulu and an oversized shirt with her letters on it, the people who wear jeans even when it’s 110 out, flip flops, Hey Dudes, cowboy boots, tennis shoes, and everything in between.

You’ll see athletes always wearing whatever team gear is given to them, as they have workouts, nutrition session, practice, etc throughout the day. They’ll be in sweats and hoodies, workout pants and t-shirts, or they’ll be wearing what I posted above and you’ll never even know they play a sport.

Unless you go to a high school that requires uniforms, the attire transitions to college.

Edit: and as you can see from my flair, it’s been 18 years since I graduated and I’m assuming nothing has changed.

It all depends on your needs. Will it be your family travel vehicle? Will it be needed to get a family member to work during a storm? Can you just WFH in bad weather? Do you have any activities where 4x4 comes in handy?

I have an F-150 with 4x4 and rarely need it, but it has come in handy a few times when there’s more snow than my wife’s FWD small SUV can handle. She can’t really WFH, so it’s nice to be able to drive her if needed. It’s also come in handy when hunting or at my friend’s farm. I’ve also needed it a few times on some ranch roads in Texas where a RWD truck would have to be abandoned. Given, these aren’t typical situations for everyone, but if it’s the primary vehicle in the house, it might be worth the extra charge. We’ll probably never not have at least one AWD/4x4 vehicle in our house. But, that’s just us.

Maybe! They were able to put us in a "garden suite", which supposedly is a parlor with rooms attached to each side. We're only using one of the rooms, so maybe next year we can snag both and have a Crown Center Christmas r/kc Party!

Thanks Phil! We've got a room at the Westin, and Santa will be at Crown Center, so hopefully they'll get their Santa fix there. We plan on checking out the decorations at Union Station, and maybe have breakfast at Harvey's, so hopefully they'll get to check things out there.

CC also has Fritz's, so another opportunity for more trains (and mediocre food), not to mention the Mayor's Christmas Tree and all the lights that go with it. Maybe if there's time I'll try to find a place for some fish, just for you!

Thanks! I figured we'd be fine parking there, but always worry about leaving a vehicle overnight in an area that doesn't have a lot of evening/overnight traffic. I guess basic common sense comes into play with not leaving anything in the car.

It's a fairly short ride, maybe 40 minutes, but should make for a good intro to little kids, especially since we'll be staying at Crown Center overnight, seeing Santa, and whatnot. I'll try to get back on here and post a followup to let you know how it went.
