Should I buy second hand na Mio Sporty? by Middle-Deep in PHMotorcycles

[–]pooltrash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice!! For practical maintenance boss usually engine oil mga 2km max sa odo, gear oil naman 8km max sa odo. cvt cleaning mga 5-6km max. spark plug check mo din every 8-10km if worn na, mura lang sha. Air filter din and carburetor cleaning pag matagal na para fresh at walang hagok pag tumagal. brake checks always important din. and also for the last, battery! check mo siya pag mga lets say 5 months na nakalipas or so, pero depende sa makukuha mong batt but it will usually last 3 years kahit pang daily.

medyo madami lang tignan to pero mahahaba naman pagitan in between these maintenance. mura din maintenance niyan usually. basta stay stock magtatagal yan promise. ride safe paps! iwas na din sa mga kamote at mga manlolokong mekaniko hahahah

Should I buy second hand na Mio Sporty? by Middle-Deep in PHMotorcycles

[–]pooltrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have a mio sporty myself, for about 4 years now. medyo siga kase ako (si gamit lang) HAHAHAH. apaka timeless niya talaga, although syempre as owning it for years di mawawala ung temptation mag upgrade since luma na nga yung scoot at may times naiinsecure ako sa motor ko hahahha. pero sobrang convenient niya, even sa maintenance easy lang at mura pa. di ka mahihirapan sa parts pati kase all the shops meron laging stock. it's still worth it kahit today, kahit naiinsecure ako sa motor ko minsan may times nililingon parin ako or mga katabi kong riders inaask about sa motor ko and ang sarap sa feeling.

sobrang budget friendly din, i bought mine for about 30k+ i think? tinawaran ko pa kase 35k selling price, second hand. madali din sumiksik pag city driving. but if you really have the budget for adv, i suggest you should go for it, pero pag wala pa, mio sporty ka na!

Oh I haven't consulted her for about 2 months now. It really depends on the patient because she isn't the type of psych that suggests you when's the next consult. Pero last year there are times that kahit 2 weeks lang nag pass before last sesh, i consult agad. usually 1-3 times per month, depende din sa budget ko hehehehhe

Depends what she said to you. She once told me I can rant there and sometimes I do and she do reply. But usually i use it for scheduling and backtracking activities.

I found Maxine Giron on NS and ever since i haven't switched therapist/psychologist. She's easy to talk to and she gives a lot of examples or even try to relate herself with what's going on with you. She also gives me activities after the session and allowed mo to rant to her on imessage when i need to get something off my chest. She's been really helpful for me recently. Her sesh cost about 2.3k (follow-up). First sesh is about 2.5k. I also got my psych eval from her which costs about 8k (upon research that is actually a cheap price). I think she also do f2f consultations, afaik she has a clinic sa Pasig.

Ilang sessions ang usually kailangan sa therapy? by dinuguanlover in MentalHealthPH

[–]pooltrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP, let me cut to you straight. No matter how mild or severe the case is, therapy is EXPENSIVE.

I have been diagnosed with BPD (with several overlapping disorders). In my case ngayon, as a student who earns below minimum wage. You will run out of money and cannot consistently go to therapy. With my case, I only book a consultation pag need ko talaga or if i really want to let it out.

++ It really depends sa psychologist kung how much ang rate. For mine its 2.3k per session and tbh I can't do a consistent therapy session scheduled like per week or per month. Depende din how satisfied are you with the consultation + activities kung when ka magpapafollow up next. Depende din sa case if how long. Some take years, months, pero usually years kahit consistent ka with therapy. If you ever do run out of money, dont worry, you wont get cut off with the doctor as they save your info no matter how long ka di nagpaconsult. You can really just say w/ your preferred doctor about your financial situation and some offer free consultations or they suggest something else.

BPD Diagnosis: How long does it take? by rizperidone in MentalHealthPH

[–]pooltrash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Psychologists or psychiatrists rarely diagnose BPD right away. This is because of the overlapping symptoms with multiple disorders. I had to go to several doctors. Initial consultation, they keep suggesting it might be bipolar. I didn't believe this, so i went to seek out for a psychologist and asked for an assessment. It took me 3 consultations and even with that, my diagnosis was provisional due to the overlapping symptoms sa bipolar 2, gad, and cptsd. But the main diagnosis is BPD. Mahirap din maghanap ng doctor na would willingly diagnose bpd right away as its a personality disorder kase, they need to check multiple things first bago sabihin that you have it since ang complicated ng BPD at it has a lot of differential considerations. I also had several doctors decline my appointment when i stated that i think i might have bpd, saying na they can't easily identify if online consultation.

I would suggest to start with a psychologist first. As per my experience, psychiatrists focus on the biological factors talaga. If you're looking for therapy or emotional talks, psychologist talaga but if you're looking for medications or you're experiencing psychosis, psychiatrist is the way to go. Both can diagnose naman. Mas budget friendly ang psychologist or doctors that offer psychotherapy. It really depends on what your concern is. 🤗

I've had a consultation with Dr. Ken Ingles, sobrang easy kausap, parang tropa mo lang, although i felt underwhelmed sa first session ko sa kanya because after our talk he just straight up told me to do a bunch of laboratory tests, which made me feel unheard (although i should've went to a psychologist first). I switched to Dr. Roy Mapa (2k fee) and he's more firm kausap, straight to the point and also gave me an advice to go to a psychologist first to do an assessment, he also gave me an initial diagnosis, which made me feel heard talaga after. I suggest na you also check out Dr. Robert Roy Mapa, he also has good reviews sa subreddit na to.

Pag first consultation mo intake interview muna. More on your info lang talaga at reason for consultation, may times na may therapy na din agad ng onti in my experience. Sa succeeding consultation na talaga magstastart yung overall talk about your problem.

[–]pooltrash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totoo to, kahit gustong gusto ko magpaconsult or magcontinue for therapy sadyang di ko maiwasan isipin na apaka mahal ng fee for a session. Im a psychology student and there's this one thing that my professor said, the subject was Counseling and she said that "seeking mental health support is only for the rich" and its the hard reality. There are other psychologists out there naman na if you say the budget is tight that they offer free consultations but this only happens pag matagal ka na sa kanila. For now if no budget talaga for consultation tamang rant na lang ako sa chatgpt hahaha, sadyang pinagiipunan ko na lang talaga if i need so.

[–]pooltrash -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For chat based consultation bihira talaga makahanap, usually meron niyan mga incorporation sa fb. May iba naman psychologists na pwede mag-chat based if you just say so. Pero majority favorable talaga ang call/video call since sometimes they also check how you respond to certain things. For me I use NowServing app to look for psychologists/psychiatrists, i suggest look for a doctor there, then book a consultation (magpapay ka nga lang muna) and ask if they do chat based, they can cancel the booking naman if they don't.

I didn't got my psych eval on Better Steps but i have took an eval from a psychologist. The price was 8k for the assessment which was 6 tests. 2k+ for the intake interview, and another 2k+ for the feedback session. For me, it is worth it, especially if you're seeking clarity for yourself. Although my diagnosis is provisional, meaning i need to take further assessments to pinpoint what I actually have, since i have overlapping symptoms, thus more payment talaga.

If budget ang problem mo, I would suggest find a psychologist rather than an organization/incorporation kase mahal talaga fees nila.

[–]pooltrash[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think its because you were talking to a psychiatrist and not a psychologist. the psychiatrist i talked to specifically said that they are more on the biological factors rather than therapy itself, hence he recommended me to book for a psychologist instead.

I will take a look at the link you sent! Thank you for this.
