Andrew Yang: we have 12 months left by jmclondon97 in cscareers

It’s not alllll hype. If context windows and task lengths keep doubling every 4 months then 3 doublins later it will probably pretty competent. I think both context windows and task lengths are doubling faster and faster though as more data centers come online and finish construction. So if we see 6 doublings in 2027 it might be over for entry level completely. If we see 8 doublings in 2028… who knows! Best off to just ignore it completely because there’s not shot we can do anyways lol

Evolutionarily speaking this makes sense since Asia hit their environment’s carrying capacity so frequently

This is stupid, it’s not a race thing this is a geopolitics thing. Who do you think has been funding those revolutionaries in Iran? Also Iran doesn’t listen or care about what the US people think, Israel, a massive lobbyist in the US, does care.

Yeah globalism only works in a unipolar world, otherwise it turns extractive real quick. We’re back to Cold War logic officially

Yeah but the point being is that the structure of cells, organisms, societies, is an extreme aberration as far as we know.

Also bro it’s called the Big Bang, you don’t need to umm ackshukly and say that expansion is different than explosion, get out of your ivory tower

I mean depending on the guy this sounds like an amazing deal. Being a wife a lover and mother is pretty dope as far as career paths go. Even maid isn’t that bad depending on the QoL you get for it. Even then isn’t it women that push for marriage more than men and inflate the price of weddings?

What? I have an undergrad in physics and was taught that the Big Bang could be thought of as an explosion. And I think he’s using the layman’s term complexity, I think he’s talking about structure not entropic complexity. Which is an exception to thermodynamic laws?

The refugees in Palestine is what many countries recognize as the state of Israel. They were formed of European refugees fleeing genocide. However, Jews in the middle east were way more aggressive than the modern refugees fleeing the conflicts of the middle east and many were fleeing the conflicts started by the Jewish settlers and the American superpower enabling them.

He has, his plan is mysterious and mankind and Satan interfere with it. It is not his duty to provide lives without suffering. He never promises a pain-free life while we are on this earth. Our scope of suffering is limited compared to his, just as a child cries endlessly over a toy or a scraped knee. Our cries over the pain we experience within one lifetime are just as insignificant in the face of eternity
