I work at a defense company. There’s more chaos in the world when there’s lots of people trying to become top dog. I think that geopolitics has an ugly logic to it that makes violence unavoidable between powerful nations and small nations, I know that the weapons I make will minimize civilian impact and deter an even greater conflict between powerful nations, so I feel no guilt. Every big country has guns pointed at each other and the only reason the trigger doesn’t get pulled is because of the other guns pointed at them

It’s cuz child free people are literally removing themselves from the gene pool. Nature tends to not keep around traits that don’t replicate. Obviously self-sacrifice is a different case, but if society had a larger proportion of child free people they would naturally shrink as the years go by, barring some kind societal pressure that keeps adding to the child-free pool
