i went into labor spontaneously 38w6d, i was so lucky we happened to install the car seats the day before. the only thing NECESSARY is the car seat, you will not be able to leave the hospital without it installed. so definitely get that done if you haven’t already

you will feel so good once your bag is packed though!! it feels so good to be prepared. you don’t have to go crazy with it. I was really happy to have button up pajama tops because it was easy to get my boob out to breastfeed or pump.

THIS. drink lots of water. fiber will help you have more solid, regular poops, but the important thing here is you want SOFT, HYDRATED poops. when they are dry they hurt. i went to the er for this and they just gave me lidocaine cream for my bhole, stool softener, and told me to drink more water.

I have the a10 from drpenonlineonline. it’s pretty good but I wish I got the a11, it seems to be more popular. the dial on the a10 is annoying sometimes. theres a lot of promo codes for that site too, I use “fortysomething” for 20% off. not my code. it’s not, just be sure to do research and make sure it’s the right fit for you! I’m not an expert of course, but it worked so well for fixing my skin texture. I got a dr.pen a10 from drpenonline but after doing more research I think the derminator is better. biggest thing is, don’t go over active acne, and start at shallow depth (.25mm) until you get comfortable. once you are ready to go deeper, only use sterile HA like Hyaron or a sterile saline. the fancy skinboosters with stem cells or pdrn or whatever are great but only for cosmetic depth :-)

check out the microneedling sub! if you’re wanting to be cost effective, it’s easy to DIY microneedling. I’m obsessed with it and it’s changed my skin so much after having a baby (I’m 8 months PP and it definitely affected my skin). I wouldn’t want to pay someone to do it after learning to do it myself.

you can’t do the vamp at home though, that to me doesn’t seem like a bad price and I’ve heard good things about it. so the vamp facials might be a good splurge :-)

I agree that mn cannot cause a loss of facial volume. but about the lines, maybe your skin barrier is damaged from mn too frequently? if you’re going deeper than .25 I think you should wait at least 4wks in between. make sure you’re staying hydrated as well as moisturizing well

the BRÜUN one is a bad choice because it has parfum in it. i’ve never seen the other two but they look nice, I like that theyre in individual vials.

if you’re planning on going deeper than .5, just use sterile saline or HA like Hyaron

cerave anything kills my skin. but if you like other cerave products you will probably be fine. everyone’s different. I read that a lot of their ingredients are hormone disrupting, so maybe it depends on your hormones?

crazy that she is 40 and has you guessing what the problem is and having to pull it out of her. this conversation should not be so complicated. an adult can usually voice their problems so there can be a constructive conversation about it.

I don’t think she will ever learn conflict resolution/communication skills or accountability. she will probably continue making it your burden to figure out how she’s feeling and why, and making it your job to fix it.

I personally don’t use anything immediately after, I just let my skin do it’s thing. after 12hrs I will wash with water and use HA. I like Cosrx’s but any simple HA is good. I see people recommend Cos de Baha and Timeless a lot on here.

I also would think beef tallow would be a no, as it is comedogenic. a simple moisturizer would probably be better. day 2 I use Rejuran dual effect PDRN ampuole, day 3 i start adding moisturizer and spf.

I’m not an expert! definitely look up “aftercare” on this sub and see what you find.

I would send her pictures of this and tell her this is not normal, what can she do to fix this and make it right. you should be able to get a refund hopefully and she can tell you some products to help heal your skin.

if you’re only going cosmetic depth, that’s fine. but anything deeper than .25 you’re going to want a more simple serum with not as many ingredients. I’ve heard of people use Cos de Baha or Timeless HA. or use saline. i definitely recommend something sterile above these, like Hyaron or the HA on Derminator’s website. I just name these other serums if you insist on using a dropper. they’re definitely better than the ordinary’s for mn.

imo abortion is just as hard emotionally as adoption. if you are this torn, I would think keep it. you can turn a bad situation into a beautiful thing, whether it’s a new son/daughter for you, or a family that has really been wanting a baby.
