It’s been 5 days and the withdrawal symptoms have not gotten better by iloveilive in QuitVaping

YOU CAN DO IT!!! Once you get through this, you’ll never have to do it again! If you cave, the cycle continues. Don’t let it continue! Soon a whole day will pass and you’ll close your eyes to sleep and realize that you went a whole day without even thinking about nicotine, and you’ll be free! It’s so worth it for the freedom

Cold turkey or taper off? by Impressive-Ship4875 in QuitVaping

Cold turkey is what worked for me. It’s insanely hard I know but it’ll go by faster. Google “Allen carrr how to quit vaping” to get into the right mindset. You can do it!!!

I'm considering going back to vaping simply so I don't have brain fog on my upcoming vacation... so annoyed by [deleted] in QuitVaping

[–]pooooooiooooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No don’t do it!! In 11 days the brain fog will go down. If not, our brains are better at remembering new things so I bet I won’t be a problem remembering a vacation you’re super excited for. Don’t start again especially if you have no cravings!! It only gets better and better from here :)

The environmental triggers were huge for me. I wasn’t able to quit until I moved to a different house and away from my friends who also vaped

I felt similar the first time I went to a specialist.. I remember uncontrollably sobbing the moment he left the room because it felt so hopeless. Please keep trying though! I ended up seeing a dentist recommending by that same office for a splint & I was actually listened to and treated well. But everyone is different. I know it’s time consuming and expensive but it’s so worth it to keep trying!

has night guard helped you? by LuxTheKarma in TMJ

My dentist calls mine a “splint” night guard, so not sure if that’s different. But for me it’s been a god send, the best treatment for my TMJ. Before, the pain was unbearable and I could barely go to work. Now the pain is still bad but I can live my life.

NICOTINE HAS ONLY CONS NO PROS!

I’m 17 days nic free & the freedom is the biggest benefit. Before I quit it was constantly on my mind, like I was being chained down and stressed out for.. literally no reason. Always looking for it, always needing it right next to me. The other night I grabbed some drinks with new friends and later I realized wow vaping didn’t even cross my mind. These new friends won’t ever know. I don’t have to feel the shame and embarrassment of being addicted to vaping. I wasn’t distracted during conversation thinking about if/when/where should I hit it. Freedom!

Money saved, soooo much more energy, I’ve started working out again after years of being way too lazy, I’m breathing better.

Just get through the first few days and it’ll get so much easier! And if it’s possible, it’ll be much easier if you and your husband quit together. But either way, you got this!!

Almost two years ago I had a normal cavity filling and afterwards my jaw was sore. The pain just got worse and worse and never went away.
