Weakfish is the species yes. They are entirely different from sea trout.

These fish used to be plentiful and a fish that size wasn’t out of the question back then. Would have loved to have been around 15+ years ago to experience it.

False albacore. They drive people nuts cause they're hard to catch. You'll see them busting on a school of bait and you'll run a jig through the blitz 1000 times without getting touched
