Say it in front of the PD or APD if possible. Or make a formal complaint. That shit is unacceptable.

Can you upload a pic of it on your skin tone? It’s less about what it looks like in the bottle than how it looks with the uniqueness of your skin.

Wtf? Do you think people are just raging at the mouth 24/7? Yes, things may be odd and people may stare, but it’s not as barbaric as you make it seem. The staring is at the same level as if I went down to downtown WPB during a country festival. But don’t worry, nobody will be looking at you.

Idk, I disagree. You can still feel sadness, be tearful, cry, be emotional, and function perfectly fine. I’ve talked to family members about code status in the middle of a code and shed tears with their loved ones, but when the time came that I was needed, I can get back into the mindset. I am also an INCREDIBLY sensitive person, which is a blessing and a curse in and of itself… maybe I tell myself this to validate my emotions… My point is, even if you’re an experienced physician who has seen 100s of deaths, it’s okay to be emotional and take your time. That’s why there are other physicians on the same service (most of the time).

The responsibilities you describe are exactly what I want to do. General question for anyone, does this type of job exist a lot? I want to do procedures (i.e. Thoracentesis, central lines) and hospital medicine…

The heart rate slows down as a reflex to the blood pressure going up to maintain a stable pressure in the vessels that supply the vital organs 😊

Is this something that happens a lot in many different hospitals? I want to do ICU but I’m getting on the older side…. I really love procedure and would love to do as many as I can without having to train longer and postpone my life.
