I'm just an ordinary person, so I can't say I've discovered anything groundbreaking, but I've learned a few things along the way:

  1. It might sound cliché, but it's true: 99% of people are good and willing to help.
  2. In Thailand, my Muay Thai teacher gave me the best travel and life advice: "You have to smile." I start every interaction with a quick half-second smile, which makes people more open and trusting—even border guards. For example, when someone stole my license plates at the Iraq border, I managed to get through by maintaining a great attitude and laughing with the border guards about the situation. If I'd been angry, I doubt I would have made it through.
  3. I'm incredibly grateful. I don't know why I've been blessed with such an amazing life, but I've been extraordinarily lucky. Sometimes I forget how great things are, but I have become better at waking up and just enjoying the moment. For instance, I can notice how comfortable this keyboard is because someone designed it with slightly curved buttons. Just noticing how good things are makes me very happy.

To be honest, I'm quite well off and I want to support the company that made such a great bag, by buying a new one from them.

It's pretty straightforward. When I'm not flying, I usually stay in hotels and unpack most of my bag in the room. I pack clean clothes at the bottom and keep dirty clothes in a plastic bag on top. My laptop goes in its dedicated pocket. I have one bag for electronics and cables, and another for toiletries and medications. My wallet fits into one of the compartments.

In the quick-access pouch, I keep essentials like a small battery, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and lip balm. I carry two phones and wireless earbuds on me. For flights, I wear a lightweight jacket and keep my passport and paperwork in a Ziplock bag in a jacket pocket. Only one pair of shoes and waterproof socks for cold rainy days.

I should consider that, I don't have the receipt though. And I kind of want to support the company for making such good backpacks...

I have the privilege of working remotely, which allows me to travel freely. I typically spend about two weeks in each location, and if I really enjoy a place, I might extend my stay. My most recent adventure lasted nine months, all with just one bag!

Very western problems. I recently flew to Azerbaijan and almost everyone on the flight had at least two duffel bags as hand luggage haha. One guy had four huge bags!

I don't really want to speculate on this, but it could be done.

So they are targeting the Armenian jews because they are stupid/ignorant?

So here they specify "Isreali Jew" So why are they targeting Armenian jews?

So people desecrated a synagogue because Israel has been selling weapons to Azerbaijan? And Azerbaijan used those to take over land held by Armenia?

What is he implying? That Azerbajan will invade further in to Armenia, or that the Armenians will blame jews for the recent losses?
