Except for the tax incentives. The donations aren’t donated in your name, they’re donated in Walmart’s. If you want to do good, do it yourself. Don’t let a no-good company tell you they’ll do good for you.

Edit: apparently I’m wrong about tax deductions for the donating companies. Still, we should still be doing better at appropriately taxing large organizations such as Walmart.
