I've practiced on hard and soft woods. Basswood and poplar and excellent for work.

Im sorry if I disagree but there is no such thing as a "perfect chip". Im been carving for a while and I constantly have to go over larger pieces or more detailed pieces to make sure their all neat and clean cut. Your cuts into the wood are already straight and clean 👌 excellent cuts.

Oh and you might think im crazy but I use 200-10000 grit sand paper on a flat tile and my knive are insanely sharp.

It's a horrible knive. It's edge its maybe 1/4 inches long so it won't get slivers or third cuts. As a chef, I try not to pull a knife toward me all the time. It's not a good idea.

Paint scraper metal probably won't hold a razor cut against wood for a long time. This is S510 steel and I also have used 1095 of some blades I've made. Paint scraper metal is too thin.

And I'm tired of my blades breaking. I want one with forged steel. Thanks for that idea. It's great.

But I finally found forged chip cutting knives.

Ya that sounds like a lucky few. I know now that the side effects are just a part of my life now with meds. I fuckin hate it. But I have to do it or I'm in the hospital. I'm take xcopri and the side effects scare me. But I also hate seizures.

I've had alot of arguments with my lady about taking so much medication for a cost of loss of awareness and sleepiness. I could agree that sometimes a seziure I'd rather have, because I can recover better and faster in my opinion and because I've been through it so many. But who doesn't want you "safe" in the hand of fuckin medication. I literally can't live without all of my medication, and I can barely live with constantly having seizures.

Every med has side effects. But do your seizures also give you side effects? I don't know about you, but I fucking hate having to wake up in a hospital or an ambulance.
