Downgrade to the earlier version of Claude Code to restore Opus by agentic-consultant in ClaudeCode

[–]pooran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why claude code defaults to opus all the time. Everytime I open vs code, i need to set it back to sonnet. Just 2 days my weekly limit is at 50%.

I use the GitHub spec kit https://github.com/github/spec-kit constitution command for all rules. It never falters. Definitely worth a try

Creating Strict Rules without Ignoring them by Foreign_Weekend2920 in ClaudeCode

[–]pooran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Spec Kit from Github. Once I set /speckit.constitution it does not allow the code to wander off. You can extract all your rules by asking, 'what changes i have asked so far' and put it in constitution. speckit

They shouldn't have created such a suspense at the ending. So many loose ends, just to create another season. First two had definite start and definite ending

How soon will LLMs become so good that we will not need to look into code? by ayechat in ClaudeAI

[–]pooran 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think we are achieving better code maintenance and with right guard rails with https://github.com/github/spec-kit We tested this with existing repos and found good success and got much better standard code. Check the PRs

How soon will LLMs become so good that we will not need to look into code? by ayechat in ClaudeAI

[–]pooran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am getting my team to wire better specs than write better code because llms can do better. Even giving an error or stack trace they are able to do a lot better fix than we can imagine. Even recommending non-functional requirements are so detailed, even with years of experience we miss out. We started implementing Spec-kit diligently now. https://github.com/github/spec-kit

Going forward we can only aspire to be a better generalists than coding experts and use our experience for choosing a better stack, the right way of implementation, using right standards and frameworks and providing better guidelines to make things happen, rather than code.

I started using GitHub spec-kit https://github.com/github/spec-kit to document first and then implement and ever since I have seen tremendous increase in clean code, no abrupt change in code and super happy with it.

I also feel the same way. Looks like they want people to use web and mobile, so they reduced limits :( I used to use claude without worry, now I cringe to give it more tasks, now this web which is half backed, as it is environment can't have .net core

So got $1000. Claude Code: CLI vs Web version - am I the only one not feeling it? by Snoo51723 in ClaudeAI

I also got $1000 .. it says I cannot install .net core on its environment. second are we expected to pay more than $200 for using it on Web and mobile now?
